So this isn’t the ring I chose, I actually chose a diamond ring (1.8) with a halo, 3 carats total.
BUT I still DREAM about having this ring one day too:)
It was only $4,000.00 at Macys, and they said it had an invisible Halo, Never heard of it. I asked other jewelrers about it and they have never heard of it too… I still to this day have never been able to find a ring like this..
Anyways it is made up of one diamond in the middle with small diamonds around it, in a flower shape and the side diamonds are the same. So it’s like 8 small diamonds around a bigger one, to make the middle stone, and 6 small ones around a diamond to make each of the two side stones.
HOWEVER you can put this baby up close to your eye and still can’t tell its a cluster diamond ring, it looks like 3 BIG DIAMONDS… OH I love it sooo
And if you sign up for a macys card you can get it for $2,500.00!!! For the whole ring…
I LOVE THIS RING SO MUCH 🙁
Anyone know what a HALO like this called were it is pretty much invisible??
I have STILL never seen any ring like this, especially a cluster ring, By the way I DO NOT usually like clusters, but this makes me melt:)

That is really cool! You’re right, I’ve never seen such a cluster ring look SO MUCH like one stone!

@BrandNewBride: Its funny because I take this pic to other jewelry places even custom places and they said, There is NO such thing as an Invisible halo…
& I am like well then what would you call a Halo that you cannot tell is there even when it is close up to your eye?
They had no answers for me… I don’t know if the prongs are invisible or what, but I still long for having this ring…. It looks like such a princess ring 🙂
& The lady at Macy’s said the style was rare and that it was made to have an invisible halo..
Who knows, a mystery i guess..

@BrideToBe14: Gosh the bee is busy today, I was hoping to help someone out that needed
a less expensive ring that still had a Big sparkle! It’s still at Macys
You Bee’s 🙂

It’s an invisible cluster setting…fairly common, or so I always thought. Not my cup of tea, personally (IMO, a cluster of melee looks nothing like what I love about one high quality diamond. It acts completely different. Nothing wrong with melee, but I like melee used best as accents, not to try to look like something else).

@BrideToBe14: VERY pretty! I would totally scope that out for that price ($2500!!?!?!) if I were still in the market! It will be a sweet option for someone!!

@WaitingDogMama: OMG I can’t believe it is priced at 9,000.00 now!! Still if you get a Macys card it will only be $5,000.00 but STILL…. I must of been there at the Friends and Families sale where they do additionally 25% plus 40% for opening a macys card. I KNOW it wasn’t that expensive last year when I tried it on though 🙁

@BrideToBe14 it looked like some were priced at 6k rather than the 9k. Just depends on the ring size. Honestly though, I would take that picture and the better one you got from your trip out and take it to a ma and pa shop that does custom and just see what they think. I could never have imagined finding a more perfect ring than the one I got designed and I think that you could have some fun too 🙂

Pretty ring but I have some concerns about Macy’s diamonds and their quality. Do you happen to know the specs?

Yes, invisible halos are basically cluster rings but done with such fine/small prongs that it really does look like one big stone. SO and I saw one when we went we went ring shopping. It took me a while to figure out why something seemed off with the center stone. SO actually liked it the best out of anything we tried. I had to put the kibosh on that lol.

@BrideToBe14: I actually saw a single halo ring just like that at sams club! It was either 1,000 or 2,000 I can’t remember. It had a diamond in the middle and a bunch of smaller ones around it that made a halo but gave the illusion of being a bigger diamond than it was. We were on a tight budget so it was a contender but I really didnt want an invisible set ring bc my promise ring was a invisible set solitaire it was super sparkley and pretty though!

@MissSweetiepie: i was looking at that ring at sams. it was 2000, very pretty. i told my bf i liked it but he wants to get me a solitaire and just spend more money. but i would go with that one, very pretty and sparkly!

@BrideToBe14: I have seen that type of setting at Kings Jewelers.. Not sure if you have any there.. Here they are a low end B&M. I didn’t think they were so unknown to Jewelers..
