I just realized that I have yet to show my fellow bees anything personal from my planning.
Well the most important thing is obviously the beggining of this entire ordeal…the ring ofcourse!
I couldn’t believe the ring when I saw it. It was perfect. We had been ring shopping a couple times and I had given him a lot of different ideas. He hit the nail on the head with this one. I wanted a split shank and a cushion cut because it fit my long-skinny fingers very well. It was so nice be so in love with something I will be starring at for the rest of my life.
The venue was our next big decision and I couldn’t be happier! It is a 200-year-old inn on the St. John’s river in Jacksonville. It is exactly what I was looking for. Ceremony on the water and a reception that isn’t taking place in some hall that means nothing. This venue needs little decoration because of how much character it exsudes, and that is definitely a large plus!
Then ofcourse there is the matter of the dress. Though I do not have a picture of me in the dress (and I won’t for a while, not a good one anyway) I will show you the stock. I am really excited about the dress (all except for the fact that I am a size 4 and they had to order me a 12 because they “run so big”. You’d think they would try to make a girl feel great about herself…oh well) so I would love to hear feedback on what you think of it.

These are the only real things to show at the moment but I am so excited about each of them, for different reasons!
What was your favorite decision so far? I love hearing about everyones different journeys.
