I am on a tight budget but I really wanted to buy him the Bulova watch he wanted. He has no idea I bought it for him and I can't wait to suprise him!

I am gifting my groom the kitchen aid mixer from our registry. He has been drooling over it and I figure no one else will buy it.
custom cufflinks? I had these map cufflinks made for my hubby from Etsy seller Ann Holman with the map location of where we met and where we were married:

I'm having custom cufflinks made for my FI - zelda nintendo cartridges (the traditional gold cartridge). The groomsmen are all getting links too - but in the grey cartridges of their favorite games.

If we were going to exchange gifts...I don't think the FI has a clue about it, I would probably get him a watch that he's been wanting.
Cufflinks with his initials engraved are they way I was thinking of going before we decided not to give each other gifts.
I got my groom a digital SLR camera, he LOVED it. Pricey of course but I saw it as an investment.
I know I have posted this before- I got FI a pearl handled damscus steel knife he always wanted. He has no idea, and I know it will mean a lot to him.
I think a good idea would be to get tickets, or some sort of activity to do after the wedding and everything- something else to look forward to! Or something symbolic of an activity you want to start doing with FI.

I just bought my husband-to-be cufflinks off of Etsy (she's based in DC) with our first initlas: M&M and our wedding date on the back side 8.7.10.

thanks girls! My husband really loved them and the quality was fantastic. I was going to use another seller who sold their cufflinks for much less, but in the end paying the extra price for these was well worth it. I used Anne Holman (http://www.etsy.com/shop/AnneHolman). She showed me the maps prior to making them so I was able to aprove them beforehand which was nice.

thanks for all the ideas ladies... i was thinking of a great watch that i was going to get engraved "love is timeless" and our wedding date. But I don't think I have time to do that. Maybe that will be an anniversary gift down the road...

Well I am just about 3 weeks out from the wedding and I still haven't found the perfect gift for my groom? So, I'm starting to panic a little bit!
I would love some recommendations of what you have done, what you are doing, what you would do with unlimited funds, what you would do with a small budget or what you would do if you were being creative and making something....
Any advice or ideas would be awesome! I can't wait to see what you all gave or are giving to your grooms!
