When we went on a 10 day holiday all round wales in my van a couple of weeks ago - that I've converted to have a bed in the back - every time in there!! - cold wet hillside - warm bodies!!! Also when we dared each other to jump into a forest stream naked and then had a mad passionate .... embrace (ahem) on the bank - very muddy but very fun!
I thought it would be a one night stand and never see him again! (That's for straight up almost-got-to-the-finish-line sex. Emotionally connected, etc. I'm not sure I could pick a best one of those.)
ok I'm gonna sound dorky... but on our wedding night. Definitely the best if I have to choose out of all the fantistic times we've had together.
always on our vacations together, a cruise to the eastern carribbean... weekend in vegas...
and recently after we had a HUGE fight... first time we've ever (had to) have makeup sex (after we'd made up of course). it was AMAZINGGGGG :)
The first time we ever had an entire home to ourselves. We...pretty much did it everywhere and had plenty of time to enjoy it. Up until then, we'd been doing it on our college-issues twin size bed, or quickies in places we really shouldn't have been. You know. But when we got the space and time, it was amazing. Can't wait till we have our queen-sized canopy bed set up in our new apartment and we have nothing to do this August but fix the place up and, well, enjoy each other. That's probably going to be even better.
I can only pick one? I guess I'd pick the cabana at the Hard Rock in Vegas. They have a tiny section where you pull a curtain closed to get dressed. It was awkward doing it standing up in a small place! Or maybe the cave in Hawaii in the middle of the day...or maybe up against the giant window looking out at Niagara Falls..or maybe it was the time it was around midnight and we found this kiddie slide with a little "house" at the top...

After 7 years it's really hard to pick one but this sticks in both our minds as pretty awesome!
on the couch we had in our old college home. I also believe it was the night we conceived our daughter..
I think ours was the night that we got it engaged too. We were both just so happy and full of love. Sounds cheesy...

Our 6th anniversary. He had cooked for me and lit candles, and picked music for us to dance to, and spread out flower petals on the bed and hallway path. It was just our emotional connection that was so great. He said right in the middle of things, "You know what the best part is? You're my best friend too." I almost cried, I was so happy!
For us, it's always vacation! But I think that even after 4.5 years.. it still get a little better each time :)

.... The first time we did it without a condom :) . We still can't find the words to describe how AMAZING it felt.
the weekend I went to San Antonio to see him after he graduated from basic training. (which, coincidentally, was the same day we got engaged.) I hadn't seen or even spoken to him for 2 months. We had only been communicating through letters. When I saw him on base, I couldn't touch him or anything because of PDA rules. But oh boy, when I got him back to my hotel room.... amazing.
After our first fight. We had already made up, and then it was just trying to connect again. We were both kind of tipsy. It lasted for a full hour and a half - NOT including foreplay. AMAZING.
Um pretty much all the time. No lie.
Just last week was better than when we first met (and were CRAZY about each other) so who knows if we've had "the best". One of the many reasons I'm marrying him. :)
When we were in FL we slept on the beach... Well ok not much sleeping, but a star filled sky with the sounds of the Gulf hitting the beach... AMAZING!!
Usually anytime we are on vacation or in a hotel. It's like all our stress stays at home and we can truly enjoy it without anything clouding our thoughts.
Considering he is not FI yet, I will only regale the thread with a story that I was reminded of by veganglam and "The first time we ever had an entire home to ourselves." It's not a best, but definitely a funniest.
We bought our house about a year ago. We had our old mattresses in the front room, as we hadn't figured out where we were putting them. We decided that as we now were homeowners, we could break in the house, and decided to take care of the front room that evening/night.
So we do our thing. We get up to go clean, and in the middle of cleaning, the doorbell rings. We're not sure why it would ring at 8.30pm, so I answer the door, and it's a flower delivery for BF. We swap the robe and BF gets his plant. It's a lily with a big ol' "Congratulations!" balloon attached to it.
His mom had sent it as a surprise for our obtaining a house, and had told the delivery people to deliver it as late as possible. We don't know how long the guy was out there, and we didn't hear him pull up. Oh well.

...was the night we got engaged. Love was flowing through me very strongly and this was a moment I had waited so long for. We spent most of the night, showing our love for each other, all over the hotel room hehehehe.
