Apologies if you're sick of me! I am adding to my blue shoe possibilities and just wanted some input. I have not yet found a pair that is as beautiful in color as the Manolos but my hunt continues!
I started out by swooning over these beauties (still am):

After I dealt with the fact that I just can't spend that kind of money on them, I purchased these Menbur shoes:

The above are cute, but I'm concerned that the bow is too loud (keep scrolling for pictures). So this week, I've purchased the following two pairs...
Nina Elke in True Blue:

Glint Avalon (since Badgley just won't make these guys in a darker blue without being dyed):

The last pair are still on their way to me (I tried them on in a black and had nordstroms order them for me), but I have pics of the other two. They're giant pics, and the one of them on my feet is so blurry, sorry about that!
And of course, here is my dress.
Which pair would you choose out of these? Do you have other suggestions? I'd love to hear them if you're not sick of me yet! Thanks ladies!
please pm me a real life pic of the nordstrom shoes when you get them! i was considering them too, but i wasn't sure of the actual color. i'm going for more of a royal blue.
@kitzy: Yeah, I am too. I just love royal blue. My bridesmaid's dresses are cobalt blue with a navy blue sash, so I thought it'd be okay to extend into the navys. But the royals/cobalts are still my first love. Do you have the Laelas in your possession? (Looking at your icon) I've wanted those pretty badly too! I'll keep you posted, the glints should be here in a couple days!
Oh man! I missed the part about the first ones being so expensive! I like the royal blue. Hope you find some lovely ones. My maids will be in cobalt blue too. I've been searching for the perfect blue shoe for some time.
I love the Glint shoes, mostly because I love love love the Badgley Mischka ones, but I'm looking for more of a pump, not a sandal. How comfy are the Menbur's? Another bee was saying how they are soooooo comfortable!
@LinzyJo: Yeah, it's too bad those shoes are Manolos and $775! Beautiful, right? We will stay the course and find our beautiful cobalt shoes! Let me know if you find success anywhere - definitely, stay in touch!
@Bostonsmom: The Menburs are actually quite comfortable. The support in them are very good and they run true to size. My hesitance with this particular pair have to do with the sheer size of the bow - I'm afraid the bow will get caught on my dress or something to that extent.
@lifegavemelimes: Thanks! I ordered the Ninas on a whim (with the endless.com 25% off sale going on) thinking that I'd turn around and send them back since they're navy blue, but Im loving the way they make my feet look. Certainly a contender!
@pengoala: I was just going to say that they might snag the underside of your dress. That would be my exact fear. Especially while kicking up your feet and dancing! Look wise, they beat the Ninas, but the Ninas are gorgeous too and I think both are pretty equal.
Have you tried ebay for the Manolos?
@LuckyJuls: Yeah I feel the same way you do, that the 2 are kind of equal. No luck on ebay yet - these are called Clausado d'orsay and are selling at Nordstrom, and I think they're a little too recent for that kind of lucky happening, but believe me when I say I am keeping an eye out! They are so beautiful! :) Thanks for the input!
Oh my! I love those Menbur's on your feet! I mean L.O.V.E.
I like them all, honestly. My shoes are blue as well :)
I love Manolos but as they're out of reach I like the Nina's on your feet and the bling goes with your dress.
I am definitely a Menbur fan - my wedding shoes were Menbur and I own about 5 other pairs besides those... but I don't like the Menbur's above for your dress... Have you seen any of these by GRUPOMENBUR (Avance, Paco Mena and Menbur)?

@7SEVENJ9: Yeah, I love the ways that Menburs fit for me, but I haven't yet found the right combination of tone of blue vs. design of the shoe. I'm shying away from slingbacks a little bit. Haven't checked out Avance, but I certainly might at this point. Thanks, shoe guru (and you really are!)!
@pengoala - Seriously, Menburs ROCK! I got slingbacks for my wedding purely because I loved the look of the front of the shoe - and I wear them all the time now, they worked out well for dancing too - but there are some great options for pumps as well - Avance and Paco Mena seem to be adding styles daily on www.endless.com! And they're all made by the same company, so I've found the fit to be the same across the group... Good luck!
Hmm, I think I like the Nina ones the best out of the ones you posted :) I also like the Menbur shoes but I would also worry about snagging.
By the way, nice dress! Is the material taffeta?
@froydis: Thanks! It's an Anjolique (style 1020) dress, and the material is a sillk dupioni. The most wonderful thing is that it's super light and doesn't feel like it weighs a ton. Once it comes in, I will be further debating the possibility of adding a sweetheart to it, but we shall see. I like those Ninas too, I just wish they were the tone of those Manolos! Oh how we lust for things we can't have...
@pengoala:yeah, i have the laelas. they're really adorable, but i always feel more comfortable/secure in something with an ankle strap, so if i find something equally cute i'll switch them out.
I LOVE the Glints but to be perfectly honest, I really think that the Menbur with the rhinestone bow is the most flattering on your foot. I LOVE the rhinestone bow and don't think it's too loud at all. Beautiful shoe and I think it would really add to your look. What are you thinking?
@pengoala: Love the Glints! It looks so much darker in the first picture. It's the right shade of blue and soft and feminine. I really think this is your shoe!
the GLINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they look really nice on your feet, and i love that shade of blue!!! I'd be very tempted to get those myself if I didnt just order my shoes today!
@mrsmurraytobe: Good question. My heart is honestly just not with the Menburs, as much as everyone loves them. I unfortunately just can't get past the fear that the bow will catch on my dress (who wants that to happen?). I love the Ninas, and they are honestly my new default blue shoe.
@europomme: I love the Glints too. Unfortunately, FI can't stand the flowers, and if i'm being entirely honest, I'm not sure these are going to be the most comfortable shoes!
Man...I just love shoes that picking just ONE pair is going to be the end of me! :)
Well I chose the Nina Elga in Navy if that helps... I did the DYO option with RASPBERRY SOLES!!! They were pretty comfortable too when I tried them on! Good luck with your decision :)
I like the Menbur ones the best but if these Menburs aren't doing it for you, look at some different Menburs because they are soooo comfortable! I own a pair (and am actually wearing them at work today) and they are by far the most comfortable heels I've ever owned.
@europomme: Yeah, thanks! I feel like I'm officially *that* girl that wants to spend more time looking for her shoes than her dress! I do love the Ninas, but just wish they were a brighter blue. :) I love the elgas, that's a great choice for you!
The Menburs you already bought are gorgeous!!! Love those.
If you're not feeling them, the Glints are nice too.
It's so hard to find the right shoes, dont feel bad! I had the same trouble. I wish my Ninas were lighter too, but can't have my cake and eat it too I guess!!! Nina should give a royal blue option, they would probably sell a lot more if so.
At the end of the day, I just bought them without being picky because who is really going to notice the shoes, the dress covers it.
@pengoala: Aw! Sad your FI doesn't like the Glints. I think the flowers are the best part! I think they would be stunning in pictures.
Wow, I may have to get those Glints! I think they look great on you! How uncomfortable are we talking? Are they more royal than navy?
@europomme: Haha thanks for the encouraging words. I think that both Nina and Badgley Mischka need to expand into the royal blues. Girls like us would eat them up! :)
@LinzyJo: I already knew there was a possibility FI would hate the flowers. He's not a froofy person. It's okay. I will find something else that will suit us both!
@Sking: If my FI liked the Glints, I'd probably attempt to break them in to comfort. I'm not as happy with the quality of the strap on the Glints, they don't feel quite as well made as the Badgley version of those shoes. The shoes are a solid navy, but for some reason photographed very well into a royal color. I have a lot of issues with straps, so maybe that won't be a problem for you!
You've probably already seen this one but just in case:

I wish there were more cobalt shoes out there. Have you considered a dyeable shoe? I think that's the direction I will probably go unless something turns up or I find out that dyeables are just terrible.
@LinzyJo: Hmm those are some good suggestions, but none are quite striking me as "it" yet. I'm super difficult - I'm realistic here and know that eventually i'll have to give in, but not before I exhaust every option first! :)
@pengoala: I don't think it's just you with the straps, the reviews on Nordstrom mention the same.
Here are the shoes I have now:
