I really wanted to see it because it's based on an old episode of The Twilight Zone, but I've heard it's terrible - I'm so disappointed because I was really looking forward to it!
LOLOLOL...I just left that movie..and I was so freaking confused. I agree..good concept but way to many things going on...the point where the movie started to go down hill is when he said..im wathching you from your back yard..and that weird guy was walking and looking all crazy..lol
Amanda- I've heard that they completely changed the ending from the Twilight Zone episode. Incidentally I hear the author of the short story that they're both based on didn't like the Twilight Zone episode because even that changed the ending such that the moral was different.
Oh thank goodness I'm not alone here!
I looked it up; the short story it is based off of is called "Button, Button" by Richard Matheson, who coincidentally wrote the story "I am Legend" as well...anyway...the story is in a book called Uncanny Stories...its checked out at my local library, but I'm going to have to check it out when it does come back in, just to see what the original concept is!
Where I really started to just throw my hands in the air is right after the car accident...and all of a sudden James Marsden's character was in the government (NASA?) building...then 2 seconds later he and Cameron Diaz are walking into their house in the middle of the next day...wtf?!?! Where were they? Cameron had been kidnapped the previous night, and James had been taken away by the military...HOW did they get back home?!?!?! WTF?!?

Ok, so the FI and I just got back from seeing "The Box." Have any of you seen it yet? Is anyone else ridiculously confused/disappointed??? It was a great concept I thought...but nothing was explained at the end (which, I'm sure was the idea...)...I was frustrated!
Anyone else have thoughts on the movie?
