Dessert bar? With cupcakes, cake balls and truffles? I love the look of a table with loads of different little treats to pick from!
Variety sounds good to me! I would do some cupcakes some cake balls!
I like Miss Root's idea of having a choice between the three since they're three different kinds of (equally delicious) treats. If you have to choose one, though, I might go with the cake balls. Those look super exciting and I personally would be thrilled if I saw those at a wedding and would think they were fun and different.
definitely cake balls - I used to make them all the time and give them to people and they loved them!!
I vote dessert table - have a sampling of all kinds of cool desserts! Those cupcakes, cake balls and regular cake sound delectible!
Also, cheesecakes (mini bites or regular), pies, cookies, mini-tartes, etc. are ALL really cool alternative wedding desserts :)

Love that idea!
Who knew there could be so many options to substitute for your cake? My original plan was to go with Chocolate Raspberry & White Lemon cupcakes (I haven't signed anything yet), but after listening to a conversation between FI and our friend I had another great idea option: cake balls or truffles. You can do just as many flavors and it is something fun and different. Our wedding isn't too formal so I thought this might be a good idea.
What are your thoughts on the subject?
