So I admit it I have my own guilty pleasure of reality TV shows.  I don't know why, but I love getting sucked into these...perhaps I don't have enough real life drama.  Anyhow this is a reality show with a twist..it is a simulated experiment about the human survival response post an astronomical event.

I got hooked just last night, the FI and I caught a marathon and couldn't move from the screen.  The newest episode airs tonight and I look forward to seeing what things the group will come up with.

My only gripe right now is thinking of the likelyhood in the case of a real disaster that multiple engineers, a doctor, a nurse, etc would all coincidently find themselves together.  I find that this would not likely happen unless the demographic allowed it.

Any fellow bees catch this show yet?

No but it sounds interesting and I LOVE Discovery Channel, so I will defintiely have to check that one out.  Thanks for the tip!

Do you watch a lot of Discovery stuff?  What are some of your favorites?  I totally love Deadliest Catch and Dirty Jobs (Mike Rowe is dreamy, even when he is covered in muck!)

The Mr. and I watch this!!! I think it's an actually very interesting experiment/show especially given the times we live in today. My one gripe about it is that if disaster strikes we all won't be stuck with several engineers and contractors who can build things :) It's a great show though.

Mr. Swan has also gotten into Whale Wars and Deadliest Catch and now I watch Whale Wars with him.

I agree Miss Swan...I mean really where else would this happen...I guess it could happen at a university , but come on.
