that’s so different!!  I wouldn’t personally want that for my own wedding, but it’s really cute!

I’m weird, my “wow” cake doesn’t even have frosting lol…(my first try uploading a pic, we will see how it goes!)

But the cake I want in real life looks like more like this (but I want it in 3 tiers…it works in my head!)

I hope my pics work…

Here are my inspiration cakes, but I doubt that I would be able to afford them.  They’re expensive.  I love marzipan cakes.  Can you have unrequited love with a cake?

@miss_qween: your second cake, the yellow-orange flower one is actually covered in buttercream, and the decorations are done in fondant. I saw it being done on a TV show by the Cake Girls (so it is still super expensive :p).

Joshs Girl  – thanks! it’s goona be so good, i mean really, what girl doesn’t L-O-V-E chocolate?!

Serya – i saw that cake in a magazine last fall when i first got engaged, it is the only thing that hasn’t changed!! we decided to do it in white wedding cake, raspberry filling, and white chocolate shavings over the buttercream.. i was inspired by the white chocolate molten cake at chile’s!! lol are you doing your’s in coconut, or are you changing the flavor?

@Magenta: I’m doing the mushroom cake! We looove it. Everyone else thinks we’re crazy about having a cake with fake mushrooms on it but what do I care, hah!
