Totally.. This past weekend we were at a business function in Ohio and Saturday morning when we woke up we were cuddled up and he goes "I cant wait until I can wake up to your beautiful face every morning"... ahh I love him!

Very sweet! One night, when we were headed into a restaurant, I was telling a story about something (I cannot remember what) and I mentioned my face. He looked at me very seriously and said "You have a very beautiful face you know." That was also the night he said "I love you" the first time. They can be so amazing sometimes.
oh absolutely. that is so sweet of your bf to say that! sometimes i look at my guy and am i'm surprised by his thoughtfulness. it warms my heart
@mama -- That is so cute. Stuff like that just pulls at my heart. I get misty, isn't that pathetic.

When FI was my BF and we had just started talking about getting engaged, I was wearing just a regular ring on my right hand and we were holding hands and he said, "This feels weird, you don't normally wear rings. But I guess I'll have to start getting used to it on your other hand." He probably didnt' even realize how sweet I thought it was, and I have learned not to flip out when he says that kind of stuff because it embarasses him..I just replay it over and over again in my head haha.
Aww love it! Hubs is extra cute in the morning, he loves to cuddle on Sundays (his only day off) and say things like "I'm so lucky I get to wake up every day to the most beautiful woman in the world"
Ugh I just melt....now time to go snuggle in his arms before morning comes all too quickly
@osuchicka ... seriously, that made MY heart melt. soooo adorable. A few nights ago I was really sick and spent most of the night locked in the bathroom. Boyfriend knew that I wasn't feeling well, but felt bad that he couldn't do much for me. At one point he slipped a post-it note under the door that just said "i <3 u" ... even though I felt like I was going to die because I was so sick it still made me smile. I stuck it to my mirror and now every morning I see it there when I'm getting ready for work and it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside. :)
My BF has a long list of adorable things he says, he gives me what he calls "speeches" about once a week and just gushes about everything he loves about me and how he can't wait to call me his wife and so on, however somthing that i really remember he said was cute in its own quirky what the heck does that even mean way, i dont even remember the circumstances exactly but he said to me "if you were a flower, i would water you" and while it sounds strange i think its kind of indearing and makes me laugh everytime i think about it, i guess it means he wants to take care of me and protect me and nurture me, which is pretty sweet. in anycase it always makes me smile when i think about it and now everytime he sends me flowers the card reads "if you were a flower i would water you"

@KMskull- yep! The gift card is going toward my ring and I am under strict orders not to use it!
FH is not the most expressive man with words. He'll show affection more through his gestures and physical closeness. But from time to time, something will slip out his mouth and it's soo cute!
Today, we were talking in the car with my mother, and he said that at work, every time he's on the phone, he can't help but telling the person he's talking to that he's getting married next week! No matter who he's talking to! haha I thought it was so sweet because he never says that he's excited to get married or anything; but he can't help but talking about it to everyone.. very sweet!
every now and again he'll go "awwww, you're just lovely. Can I keep you?" :)

So, this weekend I was visiting my bf (we live an hour and half away) and we were in the kitchen making dinner together. I was working on the stove and he comes up behind me and puts his arms around me and points to the fridge where he had hung a Tiffany's gift card he had gotten (to to a mistake on their part for not sending my Christmas present in time, they gave him a gift card for his trouble). He points to it and says, "I am hanging this there as a reminder of what I am saving for, and to remind both of us that we will be a family together very soon".
My heart just melted. That was the cutest thing my bf has said, possibly ever. Have you ladies ever had that perfect, simple little moment where your SO says something so random but so amazing?
