Ugh, we cleaned up. I had to throw away all my gorgeous flowers, there was no way to bring them home. Then we drove home (in the pouring rain) opened our gifts and packed for the honeymoon.
We had a brunch with family members before leaving to be part of our best friends' wedding! We left their wedding after dinner and the first dance for our minimoon.
we did a day after photo session with our photographer at a near-by waterfall, then packed for honeymoon. And ate leftover cake! YUMMY
Most of my married friends suggested waiting a day or two to wind down. Also a friend of mine suggested waiting a month, because she went through a mini depression after the wedding(so much planning...too short of a party), and still had something to look forward to.
we are having brunch and just catching up with the guests since we will have 50% oot's. we'll leave for the honeymoon 3-4 days after the wedding to give us time to unwind and regroup.
We had a day after brunch and spent the day recouping and seeing our out of town family off. It was nice to have a day of rest before leaving for our honeymoon!
We'll be sleeping in and enjoying the morning in our hotel suite, probably grabbing breakfast somewhere nearby, then heading home to pack for our honeymoon! We don't leave for our honeymoon until the day after the day after the wedding.
We had an afterparty at our house the night of the wedding. In the morning some friends came back over, cleaned up the house for us and then cooked us breakfast. It was great! That evening hubby and I collapsed in a heap with a bottle of wine and a movie.
We met our close family members for brunch (at the Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian, since our wedding was at Disneyland!) then we headed to the Park by ourselves to go on some rides, get a portrait done in New Orleans Square and enjoy being Newlyweds!! :-)
We'll be leaving for our honeymoon - the day after is my birthday and he really wants the honeymoon to start that day!
We'll be leaving for our honeymoon! i really wasn't interested in a day after brunch or any kind of photo shoot - I just want to crawl out of bed and hop on a plane and instantly be on vacation :)
We'll be having a brunch with all of our out of town guests and hopefully relaxing with family and friends in the afternoon -- maybe even some alone time, but unlikely!

Sunday - Brunch from 9-12 (it will take a LOT of coffee to get me there by 9!), then hanging out with family at my parents house for a few hours before heading home.

What are you all doing the day after your wedding? Will you be on your way to your honeymoon? Opening gifts? Or sleeping in?
We are going to open gifts with family the next morning, breakfast included. Muffins, fruit, coffee etc.
