Weddingbee boards

Mr. Banana did give me permission some time ago to look at wedding stuff and brainstorm and such.  But there's only so much planning I can do when we don't have a potential date. I do know that, barring anything crazy with his work stuff, I'll be engaged by Easter.

So yesterday I thought maybe I should start thinking more about engagement party plans for now.  I'm sure my folks would be thrilled to host one, although not too fancy fancy. This will keep me from pestering Mr. Banana with too many wedding ideas.  He and I had actually talked about having one awhile back after attending one for a friend of his. 

I obviously won't make any definite plans until he actually proposes.  Maybe I'll just think of it as a Spring party for now. 

Is anyone else secretly planning an engagement party while they wait?  Am I absolutely silly? 

I mentioned it to Mr Banana over the weekend and he said 'i thought you already said you wanted one back when we went to ___'s'.  so i guess that was easy.  ;-)
