I think it looks beautiful on you!! Love the lace (my dress is lace too!!) Any other shop have that dress all in white? If you love it, I say go for it!

Beautiful! The lace and fit are so pretty! Do they have a white swatch you can look at least? Or maybe another dress in the same line / material in that color?
btw, i love the colour of the dress as is - im a fan on the non white to be honest and ive just looked at the maggie site, i actually prefer your dress to the Harlow

my best friend found a dress she liked but it was in white at the store and she wanted ivory... we looked at other dresses by the same designer in ivory and that helped a lot-- but we ended up calling around and finding the same dress at a different shop in ivory (and it was slightly cheaper!)--
In your case though, I think that dress is beautiful just the way it is-- if you are dead set on all white, I would recommend seeing it on in all white before you buy it b/c the impact is so different, especially with lace all over like that.
That dress is so elegant, I love it, I think it would look good in white, but it might loose it's antiquey feel
I love that in the ivory, but of course I bought an ivory lace dress and I'm doing a champagne colored sash with it! I think it might have a different feel to it in white, though. I don't think I'd buy it without trying it on in the white. I freak out about that kind of stuff. That's just me, though. I'm also partial to ivory :)
The dress is gorgeous on you! I'm in the camp that likes it just in the color that it is, but it's your dress and if you want all white, you should get all white! Like PP suggested, were there any other dresses by the same designer in the store in white? That could be a good way to find out if you like it without searching all around to see that exact dress in white.

I love love love it. I tried it on in white/champagne with a brown bow, but ordered it in ivory/ivory. I used a swatch from Maggie to confirm it was what I wanted. You look so fantastic in Karena!! :) :)

I had to try mine on in white, even though I ordered it in ivory. I tried on others by the same designer in ivory and it was a totally different color than mine ended up being. It's a gamble, but I think you'll be fine!
You look so gorgeous....this is definitely the gown for you!!! I have to agree that I love it in the color that you are wearing. If you can't find it in white then I would at least try the gown on again and put a pure white gown (as close to the style of your gown) in front of it so that you can see the difference. I've heard that with lace gowns, the pure white drowns out the detail in pictures...just something to think about or check into.

I think I found it. I had originally wanted the Harlow dress by Maggie Sottero, but it was just far enough out of my budget that I decided not to make the leap. I found this dress that is 400-500 cheaper than the Harlow dress and I love it. The back is exactly what I wanted and the front is close enough that I want to get it :) The only thing that I am hesitant about is the fact that I can't try it on in all white before I buy it and that makes me nervous.
