So I posted a few days ago about worrying if my dress I fell in love with was too trendy. I went and tried on some more traditional dresses and I just didn’t feel the same. I brought my aunt (my godmother…my mom passed a few years ago, my soon to be sister in law and mother in law and when I heard the gasps, I knew they loved it too! Here a few others as well to show the difference.
I’ll add alot of pics of Casablanca 2066 because there aren’t many floating around, so other brides can get an idea!
This was Kitty Chen Charlotte…loved it but wasn’t crazy about the material
What I originally went in for…Enzoani Finley. It just didn’t do anything for my figure
And my Casablanca 2066. LOVE!
Wanted to see how it looked in bright lights but dark for reception
A good shot of the back
Blurry but a good representation of the shape of the dress (and a funny shot of me bawling hahaah)
Practicing sitting haha
Trying to act “natural”…didn’t really work out!
Hope to help any Casablanca 2066 brides!

Thank you ladies!
I just keep smiling…I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it. It is so different from anything I’ve seen…princess but still modern fit. I couldn’t be happier!
Finally, my larger hips/butt for my frame came in handy for something! Normally I’m in a fight trying to find jeans/pants to look ok but it worked out well in this girl! YAY!

hey there! i’ve been eyeing this dress for a couple months now. Haven’t tried it on yet, but I will probably do so this summer when I get a chance. Just curious, how tall are you? I’m only 5’1 and hope it’ll fit me just as well!

I’m about 5’4 and that is a size four and is a little long on me, but not bad! The way the tulle is picked up on the bottom, bringing it up a few inches doesn’t hurt the look of the dress!

WOW! I love it. I also love the veil you are trying on in the photos!

Thank you ladies! It is such a flattering dress and I think it is so different! I haven’t seen many pics of it and the model pics don’t do it any justice!

@princesswedding: It’s simple but sometimes that is better! I am going to keep it long so it kind of blends in with the dress and then lose it for the reception 🙂
