If that’s the dress you love, it’s the dress you love.

You’re not buying it because it’s trendy, so you don’t really have to worry about that part, but I do understand why it’s a concern.

As for it looking silly in ten years, I don’t think that’s going to happen. I mean, it could, but I look at a lot of wedding dresses from the past hundred or so years, and many of them, even the ones with unusual textures and patterns, still look great. I think the style of this dress will look good for a long, long time or cycle in and out fashion.

If this is the dress you want, buy it.

The divina is gorgeous on you. There are about oh, a billion girls that will wear, or have worn lace mermaids, tulle ballgowns etc. If you love it, wear it.

@FutureLadyL:  dont worry about it being too trendy, like PP said, its your wedding so if you love it then wear it.

You look GORGEOUS and I wouldn’t worry about it!  If you love it now, buy it and don’t buy for the future.  At first I thought the same thing, but in the end I bought the dress I loved 🙂

You look gorgeous! In 10 years, it’ll look hideous, but in twenty years you’ll look fabulous again.  The cycle always repeats. What really matters is how you feel and how it reflects who you are today at this moment. And again, that dress looks amazing on you!

You look AMAZING in that dress!

And in 10 years, EVERYONE’s dress looks dated. In 30 years, ALL dresses loo COMICALLY out of date. But then they hit 50 years old, and they’re suddenly gorgeous and classic!

So it’s really just waiting it out. Get the dress you love!
