I have an appointment on wednesday to trry on this dress and possibly order (that isn't me in the pics)

Well I don't love it or hate it, but it really is very cute! I hope it looks lovely on you!
Love it :) it would be my ideal dress in a floor length version
Very cute dress. I guess this depends on the style of wedding you are having. Can you explain more?
it's outdoors during the summer in Texas (it will be very warm) so I want to stay comfortable. It's going to be casual as well, so that's why I'm thinking of going for a shorter dress.
Very sweet. For the right type of weddiby I think it would be adorable.
and I'm young so I feel like it's age appropriate
@SapphireSun: Definitely agree--I think better for a daytime, outdoor, casual wedding.
@Mrs.Lonestar: Looks like you're on the right track :) It has a fun, sweet, young feel, so if you have the decorations and details to match, it could be perfect!
This is the same dress but with a lace over satin skirt. For those who don't like the original dress is it the fluffiness thT you don't like?

It's very cute, but it probably would look too much like a tutu on a curvier girl. If you're thin it could look awesome! I'd love to see pics when you get to try it on.
@kala_way: I'm a size 2 so I'm not too worried about that but I definitely know what you're talking about. I'll post pics on wednesday!
I would also get a longer skirt to take awy some of the fluff
@Mrs.Lonestar: Ah, then you're golden. That's the kind of dress that can be so whimsical and fun when it fits the right body and event.
I actually really love the lace version, probably because that silhouette would look better on me, lol, but they're both fantastic.
To be completely honest, I think it looks like a flowergirl dress. :( That's what I thought of when I saw the first picture.
@Mrs.Lonestar: I love the 2nd one with the lace skirt! So cute, and it's a good compromise if you're worried about the tutu comments. If you love it, go for it!
I love it (without the lace) but I see it as a reception/rehearsal dress or a courthouse dress. It doesn't scream wedding unless it's a BBQ backyard wedding.
I LOVE it and think it's adorable! But it is really poofy. I like the one with the lace better because it's a bit more toned down and I think that one looks more like a wedding dress and not so much a flower girl dress. I think we would have to see pictures of you in it, but they are both very pretty!
I went to try on some of the dresses this morning. The one with the tulle wasn't available (its a custom made dress shop)
so it would be the top from this one but with a tulle skirt that will be made less poofy than in above pics and without the sash

and some others I tried on...not o fond of the sleeves but they coud be easily removed

excuse my comfy blue socks and sideways pictures :)
@bells219:its in New York. and I think there is one in LA they do a lot of work via e-mail and sketches and everything.

I love it! I bought my dress (a different style) at the same shop and had the same woman helping me. I think their dresses are amazing.
@texasgirl29: I got the Beverlywood. I ordered it in December and am waiting for it to arrive.
I love it but in that second pic it seems like it should be an inch or 2 longer
I still love this dress! I wouldn't worry about the too short comments...everyone has their of idea of what a wedding dress should be in their head...and if you want a short dress, I say go for it!! It is okay to think outside of the box
@misslyn86: yea it kind of bums me out that so many people don't like it, but it really feels like my style. Nothing else I saw in traditional bridal salons really appealed to me so I'm going with my instinct!
From a fellow tea length dress wearer, I love it. Totally don't agree with the stigma that you could only wear that dress for a BBQ wedding. Let's think outside of the box; not everyone is a long gown type of girl.
@MissGreen: I guess people really do have a problem with tea length! I mean if this gown had a full length skirt I doubt so many people would "hate it" oh well
