Hmm, I had trouble find some too, but I did find these. Have you considered going the dyeable route? Something like this could work if you went that route.
I ordered these navy shoes for my wedding:

@ kandi.... i love those shoes. mayyybe.
oke doke girls.... heres another question: my bridesmaids are wearing navy dresses (shown in sample 1 below), and i suggested them wearing light gold sandles (shown in sample 2 below). However, one of my Bridesmaids (the one who introduced my fiance and I to each other) actually told me the color was "ugly" and it was b/c shes pale and the color will wash her out. The whole point of ny bridemaid dress/ ensemble is to make it hassel free (can you go more hassel free than J crew!?) and super re-wearable. So I'm thinking I should change the shoe color to like an ivory.* sigh* what do we think? I'm wearing an ivory-ish dress, so maybe it make sense. thoughts?
Check out Linea Paolo "Gwen". It's available in navy and I was considering getting it for my wedding, but couldn't get it in white in time for my first fitting.
@amandopolis
those are soo pretty! I really like those and if I was having our ceremony/reception back at home I'd be all for them (very SATC Manolo gorgeous). However im just going for something a tiny bit simpler.... we're having a small & casual yet a little bit traditonal southern beach wedding. its exhsuting finding something simple but navy, peep toe and satin!
I wanted the exact same shoe, who knew navy satin would be so hard to find?? I finally discovered these:
The Glint Addison in Navy at Nordstrom. These are my wedding shoes! I am SO in LOVE with them! They are really great quality and so so cute and comfy!
It looks like they're available online in navy now, but the color availability seems to change from day to day on these, so if they don't have your size I would definitely chat with a customer service rep to see if you can get them. If they do have your size, snatch them up! You can try them out and returns are really easy at Nordstrom if they don't work.
As for the BMs, I love the gold shoes and kind of hate the idea of ivory shoes. It sounds like the one complainer should just suck it up and be glad you aren't making her buy a terrible dress ;)
ok girls, what do we think of these?
or these:
I'm no quite sold on the bow quite frankly and i dont know about the strappyness of the other one. How I pine for the Jcrew candace in navy!!!
There are "to die for" satin ones, and they're at Neimans ... Manolo Blahnik or Louboutin ... forget which designer. Apparently they're the "Sex in the City" wedding shoe. Haha.
oh yes, seen them, loved them, coveted them, then cried at the price tag.
I too cried at the price tag of the SATC Manolos. I ended up finding these instead at Dillards on clearance for $20. You can still order them from the Nina website at regular price ($102). I'm not sure if they're as dark as you're looking for though.
I wore blue shoes for my wedding -- I had them dyed to match my bm's dresses. I suggest buying dyables (or you can just buy white satin and a good cobbler can dye it) and bring in a color swatch of the blue you want! Mine turned out great!
Trying to add photo without luck... her is the URL http://singhiphotos.shutterfly.com/wedding/7
I love the idea of gold or silver shoes -- my bm's wore silver, and I let them pick their own shoes so they would be comfy - the only rules was they had to be silver, sort of strappy, and no "bling" on them.
I LOVE the Navy RSVP shoes- I'm actually looking at those in Navy or Red for my wedding. I also love the Nina Electra shoe and it comes in a great navy!!
Here's a cute choice with a fabulous price! Chinese Laundry has this little navy satin gem on sale for 39.99!
click on evening...I think the style is called mystic? I love it! Looks gorgeous and shoes like this (have one pair similar) are very comfy.
Hello!
i found this version of the coveted SATC shoes on ebay, maybe you would like to try them out!
good luck!
Me likey!!!
I love that movie..and the closet scene has special significance for T and I (we have a closet issue and he didn't realize it until HE actually watched the movie with me..yes my guy watched it).
If they're comfy I'd buy a pair of these..
Not sure if you've found your shoes yet but I ended up ordering these from Zappos.com They are Navy with a peep-toe with a knot detail. I love the pink sole and the way the knot front is super classy (I'm wearing them with my J. Crew Sophia) BUT not so in love with the Heart rinstone buckle and the brand name...Promiscuous (a little ironic for a wedding no?) Oh well haha it was all I could find! Good luck!

I found a really nice knock off of the Sex in the City shoes....$160!!

My shoes will be blue too! I had them dyed the same color as my invites.
lkltxva, where are those first navy shoes from? the label looks like it says RSVP?
i found them on zappos back in april, so i have no idea if they are still avaiiable. and yup they're rsvp!
Those navy shoes are perfect! I ended up going to David's Bridal and getting some dyed. I wasn't in love with the style, but my dress will cover them anyway. I actually tried on these amazing navy manolos, but my foot was too narrow, and my toes came out too far in the peep toe. So i went from $715 to $47 including the dye job!

Anyone else, planning on having their something blue be their shoes? I have been desperately trying to find navy blue satin peeps for my September wedding, but apparently after last year, designers have stopped ofeering this color. J Crew had their Carmen satin peep toes in Navy for the longest time. But since 1) i fear J crew overkill- my dress and the bridesmaids dresses are all j crew - and 2) J Crew doesnt make the Carmen in Navy anymore (just boring pastels and black). Even my trusty color- friendly Kate spade doesnt have a blue peep toe. Anyone else have any better luck?
