I haz it
I went to get my dress pinned for alterations (hence all the pins and stiff poses), but I had previously decided I’d most likely go for the ivory beaded/rhinestone sash. I had tried on the Vera Wang White floral sash in ivory and it really didn’t do anything for me. However, they happened to have a blush version readily available and I had to tie something on, so I tried in and surprisingly liked it! Which one looks more flattering and better?
Our wedding is daytime, indoor/ourdoor bohemian downton abbey era garden party style. I feel like one is more ethereal, the other possibly more sophisticated. The flowery one is more gardeny, but I will be carrying flowers and/or putting them in my hair if I use the beaded one, probably can’t do much in the way of hair flowers with floral belt.
Please ignore the weird face, I do not look pleased! I think I was concentrating on not getting a pin stick.

I think I just fell in love with your dress!
And as for the sash, I would say the beaded one looks amazing. Gives it a Grecian look. The blush one looks nice but I feel like the flowers are drooping ever so slightly.

Love the blush flower sash, it is so elegant and pretty! It seems to go more with your garden/bohemian wedding style.

You look like a greek goddess in that dress, seriously it’s stunning! I really love the beaded sash 🙂

It gives the dress a much sleeker look than the floral sash (which looks awkward right in the middle of your waist, but wouldn’t harmonize with the dress if ppositioned off-center). Btw, you look incredible in that dress, not many people can pull of a classic draped design like that. 😀

@akirasan: Yes, I agree that the flowers are drooping. It looked like a quick stitch would fix that problem.
I actually want to avoid looking too greek goddess! I agree that the beaded sash does look that way which is what is putting me a bit off! But that doesn’t neccessarily mean it’s not the better choice…

I prefer the beaded sash:) love your dress

Dress is awesome and both belts look very nice. I think the blush belt is very different and makes your waist look especially tiny!

Have you tried with the horsehair sash I love both of them on you but I prefer the cristal it is more elegant or I would do the flower in the same color of your dress.

I think the crystal one is sleeker and also more versatile. You could definitely still do hair flowers with it, or any style/color of bouquet. But have you thought about checking Etsy for something that combines the two? Maybe beading but in a floral shape/pattern, rather than just a straight band?

Beaded sash, no question about it. The other one doesn’t match the tone of the dress, IMO.

Thanks everyone! This is helpful and really interesting that everyone seems to like the beaded sash better. I’m actually surprised that there is a clear winner!
@Baroness_Meg: By tone of the dress, do you mean the style vibe of it, or the literal color tone?

@lazy: 100% the beaded sash…..looks so elegant and classy with it! You look gorgeous in the dress!
