I once went to the food court for lunch and lined up at three different places to get (1) Shanghai Noodles, (2) Onion Rings, and (3) Ice Cream. I wasn’t really showing at the time so I got a lot of very weird looks as I scarfed down my smorgasbord. Waiting in line for onion rings when you’re holding ice cream and greasy Chinese is… shameful (or wonderful).

This has turned into a weekly conversation in my house:

Hubby: You need to eat healthy for the baby.

Me: THE BABY WANTS ICE CREAM!!!!

cmsgirl :  I am thinking the same thing. Typically I watch what I eat but the last few weeks have been a free for all. I am ssssoo screwed when I am pregnant!

I’m not pregnant but I love this thread. Typically I watch what I eat but the last few weeks you would think I am preggo as I have been eating like a maniac. I am totally screwed when I am legitimately preggo!

llevinso :  I literally said THOSE EXACT WORDS to the ex when I was pregnant. I ate 2 scoops of ice cream every day for my entire 2nd trimester.

And cheese fries. With bacon.

During my pregnancy I LOVED cheese sticks! I ate them on the daily and I’d also add parmesan cheese in the marinara sauce. My husband would have to get some to-go from restaurants when we ran out of the ones we bake at home. Now in days I can’t stand to even look at cheese sticks!

Prettysmile40 :  Its been the freaking coldest winter here at the moment….I’ve turned into a bear! All I want to do is eat and sleep. Sometimes I do both. My hubby swears he finds me sleep walking at 3pm in the pantry eating some snack. Ironically I’m not sure if he is actually joking.I found Oreo crumbs stuck to the sheets on my side of the bed last week!!! 😨😨

In the early weeks of my pregnancy (I’m 34 weeks now), I would wake up STARVING at 4-4:30 AM so I would make myself breakfast.  I’d go back to sleep until 6:30 or 7 AM, then get up and make/eat another breakfast.  The best part is that it always involved a fried egg…and I absolutely hate eggs in my non-pregnant life 🙂

I went on a crusie at 23 weeks with my youngest. I had been really sick prior to then, and had lost 15 pounds, which was a blessing, because I took advantage of every chance to indulge. I ate everything. Everything. After apps, salad, soup, entree… I would order another entree before getting a dessert or two. Everyone was drinking booze, so they would get a drink, and I would find a snack. I gained 7 pounds in one week. No regrets.

Prettysmile40 :  I’m in Australia…. Don’t think double stuffed oreos exist here but they sound delish!!

rainbowsprinkle :  I had the peanut butter ones….or at least I think I did. I don’t remember because I was asleep when I may have eaten them. I also found a random chip dropped on the floor that wasn’t there the night before…. Anyone else eat sleep?? I swear I’m going to wake up and find myself at a McDonalds drive through  at 3am one day!! 😩😩
