I guess I should add that the purpose of this gift is something for them to wear while we're running around getting our hair done, etc. I thought it would be nice to give them something cute that they could wear again (nothing that says bridesmaid on it) that wouldn't mess up their hair when they take it off. I just found these--what do we think of this as an alternative to the hoodie idea?

Do they have to be your colors? Is that a must? I like the hoodies better than the shirts that you just posted. By the way, have you visited actual Old Navy stores to look for the hoodies? They will also call around for you and have the store hold them.
What about these?http://www.hanes.com/Hanes/Products/Women-Hanes/Women_ShopByCategory-Hanes/Women_Casualwear-Hanes/HW280.aspx
I was going to do the short-sleeved hoodies (I've decided to hold off for budgetary reasons) but I was just going to get whatever colors I thought each girl would like. I figured the hair salon/MUA would not care/notice that all the girls didn't match my wedding colors!
I guess y'all are right, they really don't HAVE to be in my colors. I don't really care for the hoodies for the girls, I just kind of wanted mine to be white or wedding related--but it's not a big deal at all. I like the hoodies better too! Thanks!
I think the hoodies are a very cool idea! I like that you aren't putting "bridesmaid" on them, so that they are still functional after the wedding. I would just go with whatever color suits each girl. I understand your feeling of needing them to match because I am a perfectionist that way, but I think the girls will get more use out of them if they are colors that they normally wear!
I agree with PrncssDva...you should visit the stores and see if they will call another store for you if they don't have the right size/color.

...would be to find short sleeved hoodies to give to my girls. But I CAN'T. I think part of the problem is the size differential amongst my BMs--they range from XS to L. And I can't find reasonably priced s/s hoodies in those sizes. The ones at Old Navy are only $15, but they don't all come in the right sizes--should I just get random colors (the only XS is purple--super cute, but not one of my colors. Does it matter?). I've found others that all match and are the right sizes, but they're almost $60/piece, and that's INSANE for me. Anyway, I guess I'm wondering if I should just abandon this idea, or if anyone knows of a secret stash of cute short sleeved hoodies for not a ton of money that I just don't know about. Help very much appreciated!
