I’m at 24 weeks and yes you need to pee more often and get more thirsty as you go on. What’s worse is that now sometimes when I sneeze, I pee a little :0

But its all worth it as you begin to feel your little one moving around.

@Evie19:  I peed 16 times in 24 hours once At 32w. It is simply how it is. It goes away immediately after delivery tho.

@Evie19:  Yes, it will get worse. I am lucky to go 1.5 hours sleeping before getting up to go to the bathroom. I can usually only make it 30 minutes while I’m awake. Car trips are getting interesting! I took a nap today for 4.5 hours and peed before I went to sleep, twice while sleeping and then once when I woke up. It’s so annoying and it makes your being tired even more so. =/

@Evie19:  my sleep is wrecked from pregnancy. My 9w old sleeps 10 hours. I sleep like 4 in a row at most.

Yes, it gets worse. I’m currently 31 weeks, 4 days and it’s not even that you actually need to go that badly, it’s that babies seem to have something that attracts them to your bladder and they love to sit/lay on it, roll over it, use it as a trampoline, kick it…it’s joyous. Some nights I will use the bathroom and five minutes after laying down have to get up and go again because it feels like an emergency situation when all I get out is a trickle. And sometimes that same cycle repeats 3 times over before I can finally get to sleep.

I am a week overdue.  I have not slept more than two consecutive hours in months because I wake up and have to pee.  Welcome to pregnancy!

Right now at 15 weeks I pee about ocne or twice a night, and frequently throughout the day. Worse – I’m a teacher so I usually have to hold it.

I can’t imagine how this is going to be when we’re further along! Thankfully I won’t be teaching after 28 weeks.

Yes, it will get worse.  And then, after having 2 kids, if I sneeze multiple times in a row I pee a little.  Joy.

In my second trimester I’m ok to get through the night for about 7 hours – I think I forced myself into holding it because I HATE interrupting my sleep to pee.  The first tri I would get up a couple times a night, now I just have to go like a mofo the second I wake up in the morning.  I pee alot in the daytime.  It has gotten better since the first weeks though for sure.
