yeah- and isn't it funny how john stamos looks totally hot for today or back then!
haha just wait, in ten-fifteen years we'll say the same about our outfits :)
I LOVE full house! :) But yes...this is a prime example of poor fashion sense. Thank goodness fashion has evolved so we can all look fabulous on our big days (minus the poofy sleeves). However, I would fall over and die if my fiance sang to me on our wedding day. How sweet!
Oh my I hope we are not saying that about our dresses!!!
haha that is true...He sang a lot to her and that was sweet. He does look great for now and then. But the whole sky diving on your wedding day getting stuck in a tree and sent off to jail and hijacking a bus with a choir that sings at your wedding thing seems a little out there...
yeah, but hitching a ride and then bringing in that gospel choir to the wedding was awesome! haha.
lol, god though, do you remember how cool aunt becky was?! i so wished she were my aunt...
haha that's funny and I totally agree! But i do like the song he sings for her:)
I can't believe John Stamos still looks the same as he did 18 years ago.... he's so hot! Hahaha remember Uncle Jesse's mullet in the late 80's? Do you think mullets will make a comeback? (ugh!)
yeah, i remember telling my mom that I wanted to have Becky's hair. then my mom responded, "well why don't you ask her what shampoo she uses" thinking i was referring to a friend at school. lol. i totally wanted to be her.
@jacqi: that is hilarious!
Oh she was a great aunt. I wish I had one that was 1/4 of what she was (I'm not very close with mine at all).
Fashion may do the swing back and our daughters will be back in the poofy dresses - yikes!
Haha! I love Full House! I was watching it the other day and had the same thoughts about ALL of the fashion, not just this wedding dress!
Aunt becky looks better today than she did then! the 80s and early 90s were rough on ladies, shudder. Kelly Ripa??
Love it!! I just ran across some pictures of a family friend's wedding back in 85 and my mom does NOT look thrilled to be wearing her peachy pink bridesmaid dress. Not one bit.
I remember that epidsode. Can you imagine 20 years from now what brides will say about wedding attire from 2011.....

So I'm watching Full House reruns and it just so happens to be the two part episode of Jesse and Becky's wedding! What a crazy story they have come up with...I mean naturally none of this would happen in real life, but my real concern is the attire.
Typical bridesmaids dresses in peach...and Becky's dress! Ok I know this was like '91 but seriously I am so glad fashion has evolved. She's got the full dress with puffy pom pom like sleeves and the veil...it's got the huge white headband like piece and is so puffy it stick way up above her head. I just can't help but laugh.
I think a picture would just explain it all so much better...
