It is totally fine for the groom to wear a different suit. After all, he is the GROOM!

The groomsmen can rent their suits and he can rent or buy a suit of his own. Would he prefer to rent or buy his suit?  What color are you thinking? I think if all those basketball players can find suits, he will be able to also.

Several bees have used www. studiosuits.com to have a custom suit made at a very reasonable cost.

I agree, the groom can wear a different suit.

Nordstrom, JC Penney and King size direct all have big and tall sections. But you may have good luck also getting a custom suit made.

I would definitely suggest getting him a custom made suit. Then, he would have one that fits for other things too.

My fiance is 6’5″ with very wide shoulders… he’s too big for regular sizes (especially his arms are too long) but too small for big & tall (which makes him look like he’s a little kid wearing his dad’s clothes or something). So he’s having a custom tux made. It’s not going to match the groomsmen and we don’t see a problem with that.

@kerensa:  +1000 When you have a man that is not of normal size you really need to invest in a custom made suit or tux because it needs to fit him properly. He should look his best this is his day too.
