What about those stick-on type push up things? Could you use them to give yourself a lift, then the corset just holds them up? Also, i've had lingerie corsets and if you lace them tight top to bottom, they do smoosh you. Whereas if you lace them tight all the way until under your chest, then go a little looser, the corset basically acts as a shelf for your chest and they kinda end up sitting on top and the corset bows out a little at the top to give you a push-up type effect.
Could you have it professionally fitted? For mine I notice it fits one way if i tie it up and a totally different/better way if the lady ties it up for me. Otherwise, maybe a strapless push-up under your corset? Or have some padded sewn in?
I really liked the bustier I got from Victoria's Secret, and so did hubby
It was pricy though, but boy did it boost!!!
@ejs4y8: You're probably right. I never though there was a right and wrong way to wear those!
I hate those sticky things too! You could get the chicken cutlets to but into the cups of your corset. I got the Takeouts but I forgot to wear them: http://www.classybride.com/better_boob_job_takeouts.htm
I found that the ones with individual cups worked best. The regular lace up ones with flat front just made my boobs flat and spill out the top (not cute). I got the Lace Inset Corset at Fredericks. Another thing I like about the one I got is that I can put it on myself because it doesn't lace up in the back. It zips up the front.
hmm. I'm not seeing the bustier on the Victoria's Secret website :( I was going to link it to you, but it's not there. I wonder why it would be gone. That thing was seriously magical...
Is the corset you have an undergarment, or are you talking about a dress with a corset top? Dresses with built in corsets and sweetheart necklines made my girls look HUGE. I'm busty anyways but the corsets pushed them up and squeezed them so much that I had to pass on those dresses.
See below - 1) me in my dress looking normal, 2) me in a corset top as "Boobzilla":
@Meliss Whoah! I'm talking about an actual lace up corset. It doesn't have separate cups and it isn't attached to the dress.
I totally sympathize with JoJoBananas in terms of the way mine fits.
Here is an underthing you might try

I had to return the one I bought because of the cut of my dress, but it seemed to be pretty supportive.

Hey hey Hive!
Anyone have any recommendations for a corset/bustier style strapless that makes the "girls" bigger? I have a corset, but it kind of smooshes mine and gives it the opposite effect.
