I’ve been looking for a colored (preferably turquoise or blue or green) kettle that would be nice looking enough to leave out on the stove but one that lasts and takes at least three or four cups. I don’t know how many litres or quarts that would be…
I’ve found some KitchenAid ones but I thought I should look to you in case someone here already has one or has looked for one.

I’ve seen a lot of brightly colored kettles at Macy’s! I always eye them, but I think I’d use them more for decoration than for function. 😉

The LeCreuset kettles are to die for. They come in your preffered color choice, too 🙂 (carribean)

I found a robin’s egg blue kettle at Target several years ago – it wasn’t name brand but it certainly looked pretty on my stove and was just as sturdy as the others. (And I used it a lot – I’m a big tea drinker.)
I finally switched to an electric kettle last year, but I kind of miss having my pretty tea kettle on my stove!

I have the bright red kitchen aid one! I love it and it sits on top of my stove 24/7. Ive had it for about 2 years and it looks just as good as when I got it.

The Le Creuset ones are good. We have an orange one and it’s nice and bright! Ummm and it works well.

I just checked out the le creuset kettles and can’t stop looking at them. Love it!

I’m with Gemstone, I have been looking at some to use as decoration. So cute! I saw some decently priced ones at Homegoods a while back! Not sure about their functionality, but sure were adorable!

By The Way – if you plan on using it a lot, rather than just having it be decorative, pay attention to how the whistle/pour spouts are designed. Some of them make you stick your hand into the stream of steam in order to open the spout. Not helpful.

Another vote for Le Creuset. We have one in blue (same colour as all our Le Creuset stuff) and (a) we love it, and (b) it looks great on the stove.
