I have a copy of this book to give away. Please comment below if you want it.
oh wow... i'd absolutely love to win that cause i have a story behind it already!
FH and i took a trip to barnes and noble xmas eve to find a cookbook for his parents. and being that it was b&n, we spent almost 2 hours there as usual. anyways... so we're perusing through all the different sections and FH says "oh [insert my cheesy nickname] look! you'll LOVE this section!" it was of course the wedding section. we picked up books to show each other left and right. FH picked up this book and started to read it and somehow got so engulfed in it that he never heard me say, "okay, time to go" for the millionth time! as we were walking to the car, he kept talking about that book and said he'd probably go back to get it after the holidays were over. but he never got the book and i've never had the time to go over there to get it for him!
so hopefully i'll win this and i can give it to him and we can have a great laugh about it! best of luck to anyone else that 's entering!
I hope one of the questions is "Will you go get me breakfast?" because I need an excuse to ask that right now.
I hope after being together 8 years we have asked all the hard questions, but I am pretty sure we haven't! Would love this book.
I'd love this book....wedding advice is always welcome! Would love to know the questions they recommend covering.
I am interested in reading this book or something like it, as my fiance and I aren't having any pre-marital counseling or church-required counseling before the wedding. I hope that we can find something to guide us through this!
This book sounds right up our alley! We love talking about the "tough questions" that couples face. We're both "debators" and it's so fun learning each other's points of view on everything!
I'd love this. We love tackling "weighty" topics, but we're always afraid that we are busy talking about theology and politics without discussing things that are important as part of our wedding preparation.
We are only 5 months from our big day, and I have zero doubts, but this would be a great tool to help us with our pre-marital counseling!
This sounds like something we really would read together and talk about
I would love to read this book with fi before the big day!
My fiance's father is a minister and our officiant. He's also doing our marriage counseling, but we're looking for other ways to supplement those sessions and this book would be perfect!
Count me in. books like this make great nighttime conversation topics for us!!
~~~~~Count me out of wanting the book cause I already own it but I had to comment~~~~~
There's a fun tradition* in my family of passing this onto all the engaged couples, it's a great great book and I would strongly suggest purchasing it if you don't wint! Even if you're already married, it will keep the dialog open!
ooh ooh, me! my fiancee is ... hesitant to pay someone for counseling, and since we're not getting married by a minister it's not required. i'd LOVE a copy of this book to get discussions going.
I'd love one of these. Our pastor is in another state so we are trying to do the pre marital counseling on our own. This would be great!
I would absolutely love to win this book! I am not yet engaged (a bee in waiting, if you will
) and I think this book would make it a lot easier for my boyfriend and me to discuss important things that will affect our future lives together. Great giveaway!
It sounds like a great book to get the conversation going.
Did you find that you already knew the answers your partner would give, or
did you realize how much more you needed to learn about the other person?
