Agreed! I loved the book, but I was really surprised when I saw the trailer. It wasn't what I was envisioning at all!
Ooo I can't wait!!! What a good book! I hope the movie does it some justice.
Right?! I kinda envision the town to be a little smaller scale. And I know they were "society" ladies but I did not envision them to be "rich". The houses were way bigger than I envision.
Aibileen's house is def way bigger than I think it should be!
I taught The Help to my 9th graders this year. We are all very excited about the movie! I think Emma Stone will do great...but they really changed her mom! She's much more active and sassy. In the audio book she's sounds elderly. Can't wait!

So what do you think of the casting?
I love the casting of Aibileen and Minny but not so sure about Skeeter. I like Emma Stone as a actress but she has a bit too much pep for Skeeter's character, I thought.
