I’m not sure if that’s it’s ‘official’ purpose but that’s the way I’ve been using it too 😉

I was reading a thread a few days ago where Bees were sharing ghost stories about haunted houses and such. I really liked one of them so I clicked “helpful” … but then I had to wonder how exactly I was “helped” by this scary-ass story about all the creepy things that happen in their house. Helped me have insomnia maybe?

I’d say yes it’s a “like” button. Strange choice of wording though.

I actually really like this choice of wording. The posts that I hate most on wedding bee are the ones that tear into a bee without being helpful. The ones that are like “OMG that is a god awful idea and horribly rude and how can you even consider that” but then don’t give any alternative. When I post, especially if it’s a negative post, I try to think if it is being helpful. If it isn’t, I just don’t post. So I think it’s a good way to think about posts. But yeah, isn’t quite relevant for all posts.

That’s how I’ve been using it, too. I like it. 🙂

I like it too! But I wish you could see the user names of the people that clicked “helpful”

I’ve been using it as a “Like” button too. Is the “like” button copywritten to facebook or something?

It’s one of the few things I like on the new WB.

I use it as a “Like” button. I feel like they should have made it say “I Agree” or something instead of “Helpful”.

I’ve been wanting to try it out haha. I’ll use the OP as my opportunity 😉

Unrelated, but when I tried to post my comment, I got an error message saying, “Slow down. You move too fast.” Good to know haha.

I wish you could also say when something was unhelpful. Then you could see like on Amazon Reviews, ‘3 out of 4 people found this post helpful.’
