I don't know if you live near a James Avery store, but they've got something like that in sizes 5-13:

Click through their site and check their full selection of gold rings; there are similar ones that might allow you each to pick your own similar style.
My advice- go to a jeweler and ask them to make it. They may even be able to engrave a design acceptable to your FI onto a plain gold band.
This website has by far the best celtic rings I found. And trust me, I did EXTENSIVE research! I searched for about 4 months before I found the perfect ring for my DH. This site has some many great ones that he had a problem deciding on the "one". He ended up getting one of the titanium ones with the recessed knotwork, but he didn't have to worry about matching me since he had bought my rings as a set. Here's the website. Good luck!

Thank you!!! I think some of these might pass the test!
Holy cow, did they! I showed him this:
...and he was sold in 5 seconds.
THANK YOU!!!
Yay! Oh I'm so glad I could help! Good luck with everything!

I have looked and looked and I'm starting to think that these just don't exist. My quest is for wedding bands that:
1. Are all yellow gold -- the only exception is 3-tone (yellow, white, rose) woven rings.
2. Engraved or woven, celtic style preferable (must pass the nebulous FI "that's ugly" test)
3. Either comes in men's and women's styles or the same style in tiny (4.5) and huge (unknown, but likely 12+).
4. Under $500 a piece.
5. Can be tried out in person or a generous enough return policy to return if they don't pass the nebulous "that's ugly" test.
Can anyone help me? And has anyone else found their fiance to be bizarrely hard to please in any area of wedding planning? It seems like there is no rhyme or reason to what it is he thinks is ugly/stupid/a bad idea.
