Could you take pictures of the dress to a dress maker and see what s/he can do to replicate it?

if this dress is set for the spring 2011 line, you should be able to see it in stores around the end of 2010, and if it does, you still have time to order it for your wedding 🙂

All clothing started out as a sketch or a picture. I’d take the picture to a dressmaker. Or try Etsy Alchemy.

you may have to do research on a good bridal tailor and then have them replicate it. its a simple enough silhouette, so i dnt see them having too much of a hide time making a copy of it

Like previous posters, I would get the dress made by a seamstress or a dressmaker.

Two thoughts: One reason you may be having trouble finding the designer is that it may not be his name. Several designers have a number of lines and name them creatively.

Also, this person might be under contract from DB not to make or sell the dress without their permission, as a term of entering the contest.

Conclusion: Either way, I wouldn’t waste your time trying to find him/her. Use a seamstress or convince everyone to vote for it and buy it then! It is beautiful and unique – good luck!
