I cook bacon at home brushed with a mixture of spicy mustard and maple syrup.  Sounds totally random, but it is delicious!

Grease? ๐Ÿ™‚ I make bacon wrapped wienies and they are To.Die.For if I may toot my own horn. I cook them sitting in about a quarter of an inch of water and I cover them in tons of brown sugar, white sugar and some cinnamon. Sometimes if I have extra pieces of bacon left over I just roll them up and cover them in the mixture and cook them that way.

bacon wrapped dates

chocolate covered bacon on a stick

loaded mashed potatoes with bacon

bacon cones (like an ice cream cone made with bacon) and you fill it with scrambled eggs instead of ice cream

and maybe for a fun favor – maple bacon chapstick (I got some of that at the state fair once!)

Can you set up a baby BLT tray? Little squares of toast with a bit of mayo, tomato, and lettuce. NUmmm! And bacon wrapped dates. I’d never had them until I was asked to help host one of the law school events…you best believe I was constantly “checking” that tray ๐Ÿ™‚

Dang, this sounds so awesome but I will have Muslims at my weddings. Ah well, I should do it for a dinner party…
