Hi bees- I’m having trouble with the Knot’s guest book manager and wondering if any of you have had similar experiences or can advise. I uploaded a guest list a couple months ago, and realized after it had finished processing that there were some errors. Some of my groups, for example, had a slightly different version of the same “party name,” so each of those accidental “party leads” got added as additional guests. I also had put ?? in the last name for all of my (many!) engaged guests to remind myself to update them after each of their weddings. I’ve since done a lot of work to clean up my list. I deleted all of my guests from the guest manager and then uploaded the new version. And now… all of my old mistakes are back! They’re definitely not on the list I’ve uploaded, so I’m wondering if the system is somehow “remembering” the old versions of people. In one case, a good friend of mine called off his engagement, I (DEFINITELY) deleted his former fiance from the list, and now she’s back!
Hoping some of you have had this experience and can help me.
ETA- I didn’t realize that many have had issues with the Knot guest list manager! I’m planning to use it for RSVPs and am not providing a paper/mail option. Have any of you used the Knot exclusively for RSVPs and can give me some reviews, good or bad?
