That is tough. My parents have been married for 27 years now and I cannot imagine what I would do or how I would feel if they divorced.
I'm really sad about the paternity suit as well. Why would he be so stupid?! Poor Ms. Knowles :(
Yea they've been separated for a while now though. This story broke earlier this year. Divorce is sad.....Lord help me and my hubs to never divorce...I don't wanna do that to our son. And yea that paternity suit is a mess...I can't even (well yes I can) beieve that he would do something like that. Apparently infidelity is the new thing....everyone's doing it.
Mr. Bananas is 23 and just a year and a half ago his parents started having MAJOR, unreconcilable differences....they are now living apart though they haven't decided on any legal divorce proceedings yet. It's been pretty hard on him and his three younger sisters.
My parents divorced after 25 years of marriage. It was the worst experience of my life.
it's sad to see couples divorcing after being together for a long period of time. my parents divorced after being married for about 8 years and it was definitely hard then but i'm sure it would have been worse if it was 8 more years down the road.
Wow! I've bee under a rock (or studying and taking law school exams). I had not heard they were divorcing. WOW!!!
My parents divorced after 30+ years of marriage. And as someone has already stated, it was by far the WORST experience of my life. It literally rocks your world and maks you doubt everything you've known to be true. As life would have it, 10 years after divorcing, they have recently begun to date. Go figure!
I've always thought as hard as it was for us kids (we were all grown and moved out), I couldn't imagine being a child and dealing with it.
Oh wow, I can't believe it. That's so sad. My parents divorced when us kids were really young and it was hard. But like those said above, I can't imagine it happening after 20+ years.
I wonder if she is going to take her maiden name back like Venus and Serena's mom did. It's sad that marriages end after so many years but it can surely happen when you stop putting each other first. When life gets hectic you still have to take time out to keep your relationship strong. I wish them both the best though.

Poor kids... I cannot imagine what I'd go through if my parents divorced after 20+ years of marriage. I am happy that it is amicable and I wish them both the best.
