I’m considering the landmark center as my reception site and was wondering if anyone has any experience with weddings there? The staff hasn’t been too helpful as of yet, and they are already super booked for spring 2011. I’m wondering what the sound is like there, as the room is so gigantic?

If you haven’t been there yet, definately go check it out. It is awesome there and right now they have an outdoor ice skating rink across the street!

The Landmark Center is a great space. They tend to be very nonchalant until you actually book them – they got LOTS of inquiries. Definitely check it out. The sound is good and the room is big – the ceilings are very tall.

I would have loved to have my reception at the Landmark Center but by the time I inquired they were already booked (18 months ahead of time). Oh well. It looks absolutely gorgeous! Good luck!

I was at the Landmark center for prom five years ago and it was amazing. The people working were awesome about taking care of everything you needed! BEAUTIFUL!!

It was on my list of places too but they were booked already for the weekend I wanted, which is the 1st weekend of June 2012, so good luck!

When I emailed them they were booked every Saturday 1.5 years out! Which was fine b/c we had 2 years to go… We ended up finding somewhere we liked better and never actually saw the landmark center in person.

The Landmark Center is beautiful. A girl I knew on Offbeat Bride said they were terrible to work with, so I would be a little hesitant to book there. But as long as you can fill up that room, I bet it would be fantastic!

hope they arent the same owners as the landmark that used to be in fort wayne indiana…. they went bankrupt and left alot of bride hanging and out their deposits. just do your research and you should be fine 🙂

I don’t think they are related. Our Landmark Center is a giant old courthouse on the National Registry of Historic Places in Downtown St. Paul, I don’t think it’s a chain of any sort.
I had the issue of of some Minnesota Wedding Magazine that featured Justin Morneau’s wedding at the Landmark. It was pretty awesome.
