Me and my husband love to turn on the tunes and just dance! Sometimes we slow dance in the kitchen while the oven is cooking our dinner and other times (like last night) we are jumping around the living room and singing along to the backstreet boys.
What things do you and your spouse do that you hope will carry on forever?
***We also cannot wait for our puppy to get here and for her to jump around our feet as we dance around the house. I also love our walks to the park and when it is empty we swing together! Sometimes it is so good to just let all responsibilities fly out the window, even if it is only for a few songs of a couple of swings 🙂

@Payless: Act like huge goofballs!
We make up songs and dance to them and tell stupid jokes. It’s fun 🙂

@RenoSweeney24: DH loves the comedy central website where they have all of those jokes and always emails me a joke when he is at work lol
have you both created any hit songs yet 😉

We dance ridiculously awful dance moves to songs in the car. We will be doing the same thing and then my fiancé will look over and pretend that I’m such an embarrassing finger dancer (“ohhhh my goodness you’re so awkward”) and I call him a hypocrite and we both start giggling. This happens probably every time we drive anywhere!

We come up with ridiculous pet names for each other to try and make the other person laugh. Some ones that we have thrown out recently: sugarbear, honeybunny, butter dumpling, cookieface… don’t ask why they are all food-related!
We also say “I love you” in this weird voice, the only way I can think of to describe it is it is almost like a frog croaking! Sometimes he will say it first and if i don’t say it back in the same voice, he pesters me until I do.

@Payless: Cuddle time. We’re BIG cuddlers and it’s not just a foreplay thing. “Physical touch” is a big love language for both of us, so when one says “I need some cuddles” we immediately head to the couch and snuggle for a while. This happens almost daily and I love it.
We also buy each other scratchers and rejoice wildly when we win… even if it’s just a free ticket. 🙂
I tickle the hell out of him. I don’t mind some tickling but I scream and get away quickly. He loves being tickeled and will squirm, but mostly not try to get away for a while. It’s hilarious, so I tickle him often.
We sing nonsense songs to each other that sometimes have to do with loving each other and sometimes are about random fake adventures or just what we happen to be doing at the moment.
We also make up silly dessert-based nicnames. “Sugary muffin pop” is a popular starter, even though it makes no sense. We get into exotic pairings like “mango infused tiramisu” as the battle for nicname supremesy rages on.

We’re huge ass slappers/grabbers and we say something crazy like “juicy” or “cakes” It’s pretty hilarious and it’s gotten to the point where if we drop something, no one wants to bend over and pick it up because we know we’re gonna get it haha.

@Payless: awwwe that sounds adorable!
My husband loves to create funny nicknames and sing-song jokes while dancing around when its just the two of us as well…
He also will randomly approach me and grab my butt – no reason at all just wants to make sure its still there and he still has access? lol

We goof around a lot, cuddle, cook, shower together, but my all time favorite thing to do is play video games with him.

I love falling asleep next to him on the couch. He sits on one end, usually on his laptop or watching TV, and I’ll lay down with my head right next to him. He gives me the occasional head scratch or kiss, and I fall asleep until he’s ready to go upstairs. This happens about 4-5 days out of the week, and I love it. Once kids are around it will be harder, but I hope there are still a few nights like in our future.

@MexiPino: tickling time + DH = unintentional pain! DH cannot control his limbs when he is tickled and he just flips like a fish out of water lol
@QuirkySocialite: lol I might try this on my DH just for a good awkward laugh
@RenoSweeney24: Well I give you both an A in creativity lol I think Rutabaga Mundingo is my biggest interest haha like what do those lyrics even consist of?!
@Pinkmoon: Have you ever done played red light disco? You dance super crazy at a red light and see if anyone in the other cars notices lol

@Payless: LOL That is why FI doesn’t tickle me back. I scream, flip and try to hit without even realizing it. 🙂

@Sassyfras27: reminds me of that old mcdonandls commerical where the girl keeps calling her boyfriend all sorts of goofy pet names and he thinks to himself, “Okay, gotta come up with something great, sweet T…Sweet Tea Pie!” He calls her his genius pet name and she gets the biggest eyes and says ,” AWW ChipMunck!”

“Dingo Dango Rutabaga”
and the other singing “Rutabaga Mundingo… Rutabaga Mundingo”
Each verse ends with “HEYYY Mundingooo”
