Maybe the calm before the storm?
I guess we’re in the phase of wedding planning where we made a bunch of upfront big decisions….but we haven’t had to start worrying about any of the smaller details yet! Awesome that we’ve been enjoying the summer – that’s 99% of why we decided on a May 14 wedding vs an Oct/Nov 13 wedding – but I’m thinking I should prob be a little more proactive in getting stuff done now so that we’re not SLAMMED in a couple months!
Any suggestions of things I can do to get ahead of the curve?

@k8: DIY!!! From what I’ve seen, a lot of bees get boggled by the DIY things that they decide to do. Of course, if you hire a professional it doesn’t matter, but so many brides take on dozens of projects from centerpieces, aisle runners, or other decorations, making veils, strassing shoes, printing programs… If you have any earthly idea of what DIY projects you want to take on, get started, even if it’s just research. Sometimes reading up on things will help you so much- like reading that hot glue will melt XX material before you actually start hot glueing stuff.
