I'm really self conscious about my arms and so have decided....16 days before my wedding...to get a bolero to wear at the reception. I need your help deciding!

Okay bees, here is my dress and veil (though I won't be wearing the veil at the reception):The mighty bolero...I need your help! : wedding Dress Headband 2

And here are the bolero contenders:

    #1
The mighty bolero...I need your help! : wedding Bolero 1

    Or #2
The mighty bolero...I need your help! : wedding Bolero 2

    Which one?

    Thanks!

    First off, you're absolutely goregous.

Secondly, I love the first bolero but not in that color.  Lastly, you seriously don't need a bolero.

First let me say that you have no reason to be self conscious about your arms from what I can see.

I chose the 2nd bolero because it is more subtle, but I honestly don't think you need it.

    What about a pashmina instead?

The gold one is gorgeous! With the veil, you really don't need a bolero since it's covering, so maybe just bring the bolero out for the reception?

@beekiss2: completetly agree with points 1 & 3.  Personally, I like the lace bolero, but agree that you do not need it.

I also agree that you don't need one, but if you'll be more comfortable with one I'd go with number 2.

I love the gold bolero and I don't think the lace one really goes with your dress.  But I second the PPs in that you have nothing to be self-consious about and really don't need the bolero!

I think both are gorgeous! I personally went with a lace one, so I guess I lean more for the lace one. But the gold one is very pretty and fun! This pics look like they are from tulip bridal, I got my bolero there and LOVE it :) (I think I also saw them on esty too)

i don't think you need one - but do whatever makes you feel comfortable! i like the style of the gold but in lace, aka: http://www.tulipbridal.com/short-sleeve-corded-lace-wedding-bolero-lace043-white-ivory-p-177.html

I also think you don't need one- but what about something like this:

    http://www.etsy.com/listing/58521780/orange-cashmere-blend-shrug-hand-knit?ref=sr_list_14&ga_search_query=crochet+bolero&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=3&order=&includes[0]=tags&includes[1]=title

Its a little different, and fun.

I would also say, if you have the tendancy to sweat at all, to not go with the satin one, as you'll be wearing it while dancing(?) so sweat stains in photos wouldn't be fun.

The first one! :) It's a similar style to mine, exept mine is the same material as my dress. I agree that you look good without one, but if you decide to wear one then I think the gold one would compliment your dress better.

OMG! You totally do NOT need one! If you are hellbent on having one than go for the 2nd one. The gold one might be too much for the night, (unless it's going to be a little chilly).

I REALLY don't think you need one. Your arms are fine! But if you would feel more comfortable with one, I would say the second one.

Definitely don't think you need one.  But if you MUST, I'd go for number 2.  The gold material in number 1 is a bit jarring.

I agree with everyone else who said you look fantastic.  Seriously, you look amazing but if it makes you feel better, I prefer the gold.

Skip the bolero, you really don't need it. But I'd go with the 2nd if you must.

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! I think I was just having a self-conscious and overly self-critical day. I appreciate the advice and support!

The first bolero is poofy so if you want to look smaller then I don't think that's the one for you.  I don't really like the lace with your dress either.  You look stunning without one, honestly.  Your arms are not big at all!

i will be repetitive here: you totally do NOT need one. if you must, i like the lace one a lot better.

do yourself a favor though and take some pics without the bolero, then look at them in 5 years and you will see how amazing you look. that always happens to me when i look back. i remember not being happy with myself at a certain event and feeling fat. then years later when i look at the pics, my reaction is usually that i can't see what was wrong anymore!
