Ok, here it goes….

It was a little after 1:00 on Friday and I get a call from my son, Drake’s,  teacher. She asked if I could meet her at the school at 1:25to discuss Drake’s behavior. She said, “oh, it’s nothing bad, just want to nip it all now.” I said ok, got off the phone FUMING and called Jermaine. He didn’t answer so I left him a message.

I get to the school, check in and head for the classroom. Upon entering the classroom I noticed all of the kids were still there, I was thinking what the heck is going on. I checked my phone and I wasn’t early…Ms. Holsinger, Drake’s teacher came over to me and said, “I’m sorry but I tricked you, Drake is not in trouble.” I let out a huge sigh of relief and Drake laughed and gave me a hug.

Drake’s teacher proceeded to hand me an envelope and a camera. I opened the envelope and 1 card game me rules such as (no asking for assistance, no emailing, no texting, no calling, no phone usage other than for GPS, take a picture upon arrival and departure etc) The 2nd card was my 1st task to complete. It said to ask a student from the classroom to solve the equation of 13x11 (answer is 143) OLD BEEPER CODE for I love you!!! LOL!

Once I took the picture, Ms. Holsinger gave me the next envelope. It said Great Job you’ve completed your 1st task. You must now report to 3325 Las Vegas Blvd, go to the concierge desk and ask for an envelope in your name. Your task must be completed by1:45pm. Don’t forget the rules!

So this is where the plan goes haywire! I left my phone at home, I had to go back home and get it to know where I was going. Come to find out I was heading to the Venetian, really the Palazzo. That’s another story all in itself LOL.

I get to the concierge desk at the Palazzo after running through the hotel back and forth from the Venetian. I get my next task and it says to go upstairs to the Canyon Ranch Spa no later than 2:00pm. I had no idea what was going on, what services I was getting. I was being asked all of these questions and had no answers at all. The customer service rep had to talk to her manager. When she came back out she was beaming and took me back into the product area. Everything apparently had been all worked out. I was told to smell some oils, pick 2 that I liked, to be used for my massage. The massage was bliss! After the massage I was given a tour of the facility and sat in the wave/serenity room for 5-10 minutes and another lady called me in. I was then given a facial, also heavenly!

After the facial I was given my next envelope. Inside the task asked if I was relaxed and feeling lovely. It told me to report to this room (room key included) by 4pm.

I went to the room, opened the doors and saw a dozen of long stem roses, strawberries and cream, champagne, a Vickies box on the bed (inside was a blinged out lace balconet bra and cute matching blingy underoos!) with another envelope sitting on top of it, a note by the bed that said I love you Boostank and a glittery red bow on the closet door. The room was absolutely amazing! It had a sunken in living room with a strip view, Italian décor, the bed was HUGE!!!!!!

I opened the envelope and it said now that you are all clean, pampered, relax and looking like a million dollars, you must be hungry. Meet me at Zefferino no later than5pm. PS you will need something to wear, remove the red bow on the door and see what awaits you.

I had the most cheesy smile ever!!! I screamed and ran to the closet, removed the bow and saw 2 FCUK dresses and 3 pumps (2 steve maddens and 1 Aldo) Everything was absolutely amazing! Then I started freaking out about OMG how am I gonna get ready, I look a HOT mess, I don’t have makeup a brush ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I ran to the bathroom and saw the spread of all of my makeup, flat iron, brushes, some new MAC shadows and lip glosses, shower stuff, perfumes and jewelry. I got ready as fast as I could, ran my tail to Zefferinos.

When I got there the  host was oddly smiling at me, saw me upstairs to the area that overlooks the canal and I saw Jermaine sitting there in his blue suit looking so HOT! We both let out a sigh of relief as we settled in and began talking. He ordered us wine, we had 2 appetizers, dinner and a dessert. He had the violinist play country music for me LOL and he mixed it with a little fast Italian too. When dessert was brought out the next envelope came along with it. It said I hope you enjoyed dinner, it’s now “showtime”, report no later than 7pm!

So we were on our way to see Phantom of the Opera. The show was amazing, regardless of the fact I could only understand ½ of what they were saying. When we left I was given another envelope that asked how I like the show, and said now it’s time to go for a ride.

By this point I was ready to chill in that big room (wink wink! LOL) and get my heels off. I asked Jerm could we skip it, go grab a beer and head back to the room. He was like, NO, you have to get on this ride, I’ve been wanting to do it forever!!!! On the way there he pulled me in to an art gallery we had previously been in numerous times to show me some things. I quickly told him we have been in here before, my feet hurt and lets go sit somewhere while we wait for our turn to ride the gondola. He insisted we go in the gallery. LOL so I’m whining and playing around the whole time!!

We finally get on the gondola. As we are buckling in, Jermaine asks the driver/singer about the bridge of infinite love, the history behind it etc. The driver tells us the story and says that legend says if you kiss under the bridge you will be blessed with unbreakable love for 100 years etc etc. So we kiss under the bridge. He then starts talking about how his life has changed since Drake and I came along. He never believed that he would ever be so blessed and was amazed at God’s love for him to have created me for him…. He’s starting to get teary-eyed. He then pulls out a RASPBERRY RING POP and says I know when I asked you at Christmas, you turned me down, blew my ring pop out of the water and told me to get real and ask you again when I had a real ring….so I thought if I asked with a different flavor you might consider. Then he said he had our dog tags made but his shirt was too tight and couldn’t pull them out…He then asks the driver if it was ok to unbuckle. He said yes, Jermaine unbuckles, gets down on one knee and said that he wanted to spend the rest of his life together, there is nothing more he has wanted in his life and I am deserving of the world and more. He then pulled out the real ring we looked at back in September and said, will you do me the honor and give me your hand in marriage, I said yes while crying like a baby! He started to put the ring on my right hand and asked if this was the correct hand, I said no but that’s ok, he quickly switched it to the left hand.

Everyone in the plaza was clapping, whistling and yelling. As we were hugging he told me that there was another surprise but I’d  have to let him out of the headlock to see it. I let him go and he pointed up. It was my Dad, Mom, Drake, Felecia, Stephanie and his Aunt, Uncle and their 4 boys.

We called his mom as soon as we got off of the gondola and I was still crying. We took family photos, grabbed some gelato, the kids went home, the adults had drinks and when everyone went home, we went to our amazing suite!!!!!!!!
