That's a great post. And very true to life - it IS all about getting married, not about how many types of flavours your cake has or whether or not people will want to dance at a non-dancing reception. I hope you and your husband are enjoying your marriage!

Great post!

And I 100% agree. I remember EVERYTHING about the ceremony, but not everything about the reception. Which is actually a-ok with me. I loved the music, the readings, being able to sit up there and look at everyone that was there to celebrate our day. It was just magical. :)

I love your post! I 100% agree with you as well. I remember every detail of my wedding ceremony, and I'm so glad I had someone take a video so I could see what I did miss going on around me...people's faces, friends crying for me. I loved it. I remember the reception, but I remember my ceremony more...and that's the part that matters!! Thanks for a great post!

Yes, the ceremony details do tend to get lost in a sea of other things. We haven't even met our priest yet or thought about the ceremony but we know what flowers are going in the church ;)
