i'm nowhere in that area, but speculation has me thinking 2 things. a)one of the owners died...b)a person who owned an interest in the venue passed away, and left their "holdings" to another person, and there's drama...
or, i hate to say, something could have happened, and it's possible they actually lost the ranch due to the economy?

Anybody know why this venue is closed? I was looking into it and on the website it says " We regret to announce that THE BARN at Grand Chenier will no longer be accepting reservations due to unforeseen, exigent circumstances and family tragedy."
Man! What could hae happened that caused them to shut down the ranch indefinitely? Anyone know?
