Report them to the mods. That’s why they are there.

There are one of these threads every week. It doesnt deter the snarky posters. They often come in these threads and then make a snarky comment. You have to do like a PP said and report them. Sometimes I see comments which are mistaken for rude or snarky when it is just an opinionated poster. I am opinionated and sometimes blunt but so are many people where I am from so I think I can be viewed as harsh occasionally but I mean no harm.

It’s a public forum….

Just flag the posts. and let the mods do their jobs. I know your heart is in the right place but these posts tend to up the nastiness rather than diminish it

@babypearls:  There are a couple and their spin offs that have upset me too. I normally see them after they are closed so I can’t comment.

I just tell myself it could be worse.

@babypearls:  unfortunately that is all you can do. It is the Internet. you can’t get all worked up over rude people. Close out of drama threads.

From what I’ve seen, threads like these only serve to encourage bad behavior.

I’ve obviously missed some drama, but truth be told no one who is being mean or snarky is  going to see a post like this and go ” by golly! They are right I am a mean bee! I am a terrible person.”

Nope. These things don’t happen

EDIT: I just saw your reply, I understand being disappointed in the bee, but instead of letting it bum you out or feed into the drama, the best thing to do is make up for those who are less than  kind on the bee. Post on the topics with no replys or with very few.  flag flag and flag somemoee.   Everyone gets a bit snarky form time to time, tone is really hard to tell via text. So don’t let it bother you too much 🙂

@babypearls:  I think you just have to ignore stuff. I don’t have a thick skin and never will. There is nothing wrong with that! I have high anxiety as well so silly things like drama threads can get to me. At the end of the day though I snuggle with my FI and watch hell’s kitchen, and i feel much better!

@harperlynn:  +1

At the end of the day, we’re all just strangers on the internet and the true impact we have on each other’s lives is minimal to non-existent at best.

@imalittlebirdie:  Haha, “I am a mean bee!”

@babypearls:  I know what you mean! It gets to me too. I always wonder why people take the time to post rude/hurtful/sarcastic remarks that don’t help anything.
