Weddingbee boards

Morning Ladies.  I thought I would pop by (something I haven't done in nearly a week I think), and announce the arrival of the new man in my life.

I had a really bad day on Tuesday, I was sick miserable and out of sorts.  Then on Wednesday morning I woke at around 1am thinking that I was having those Im pregnant and my bladder no longer holds out through the night cramps, but they wouldnt go away. At 5am my FI and I were discussing if he should go to work or not, I told him to go.  I was in pain but not having what you would describe as contractions. By 5.45 I told him he wasn't walking out the door to work ar 6am because the contractions started.

Long story short, my little man was born @ 8pm  Wednesday Night.  He weighed 7.9 pounds (600 gms heavier then my first) and was 53cm long (3cm shorter then my first). The labour was shorter then my first (Yay) and I didn't need any stitiches (double Yay!  I thought I would need them seeing as I tore with my first).

I'm not sure how many of you remember me agonising over a name for our little bundle.  It was a very hard decision to make.  And it took 2 days to make the final decision. When he was born I struck three names off the list immediatley because he didn't look like them at all, and one got added to the list that hadn't been there at all through the name searching.

So in the very end it came down to Owen Robert or Daniel Robert..............

So enough dancing around the subject, here is a picture of Owen Robert for you all to see.

thank you everyone for the warm wishes.  Its early days but so far he is easy going and laid back,  He feeds well (breast feeding has been a breeze this time, so happy about that) and he sleeps and settles well.  And his 2.5 year old sister loves him to death and sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to him and kisses him on the cheek (she is far too cute).

Between that, the fairly easy labour where I only needed Gas for pain relief and being able to be discharged from Hospital within the first 24 hours -  I really don't think I could ask for more!!
