I’m sorry if there is already a thread about this – it might be buried under all of the Royal Wedding posts!
What did you ladies think? I was bawling at the end. It wasn’t the funniest episode, but one of the sweetest.
What did you think??

“You don’t need a mom, because you have my number and you can always call me.”

The part with Jim killed me – I think both actors were genuinely emotional for that scene.

It was Micheals final show but they have a few more shows to go for the season. I thought it was pretty good, and very strange-which sums up the office, really. My FI is predicting that Wil Ferrell is going to turn out to be the real Scranton STrangler and that is how they are getting rid of him next week.

You’re right! I knew it wasn’t the last of the season, but keep calling it the finale for some reason!

Lol, I also just noticed that I posted this in “emotional” accidentally!

@spookyjen: It was emotional!! Hahah… I was deff crying. FI was like seriously? You’re crying? And then I just started bawling “michael sccccotttttt” and ran to get tissues.

I pretty much cried through the whole episode (yes, I am that invested in a show, and it is sad). I hope they can find a way to make the show great without him, even though I know it will never be the same.

I teared up several times. I’m just a big sap like that.

I cried a few times, as well. I think my husband even teared up a little, and I’ve only seen him cry twice in 10 years. It was just soooo sad.
But I may just be hormonal. The trailer for Part 2 of the Deathly Hallows came out this week and I cried through it too.

i’m glad i’m not the only one who cried, haha! my husband was just like, “you cry at everything!” but then at the end i looked over and he was a little teary too. sucker.

I was tearing up also 🙁 So sad!
Sidenote: Is anyone else not a fan of Will Ferrell’s character? I love him as an actor…and he started out funny on the show (the part where he and Michael were meeting each other and couldn’t figure it out) but his character is kind of a jerk. And not in a funny way. Maybe it’s just me, but his character falls flat for me somehow, which is a shame because I love the actor and the show!

This was such a great episode! I’m really going to miss Michael Scott =( I was close to crying too.

@spookyjen: That was what finally got me in tears. I also thought his letter to Dwight was very sweet. I’m gonna miss “that’s what she said!”
