OMG I am so excited!!! But that tie doesn't make any sense...
it looks like the tie has been cut. does his character have danish roots by any chance? my FI is danish and apparently it is a custom to cut the groom's tie and the toes of his socks for good luck.
I have no idea of his heritage but I am somewhat inclined to think that maybe in a fit of rage, Dwight cut it?
If something bad happens usually Dwight does it!
I read somewhere that the costume designer got Pam's dress at David's Bridal because she thought that's where someone on Pam's budget might shop. I love that the costume designer picked a dress Pam might actually buy!
I do too. I love SITC show but seriously..Carrie could not afford her clothes on that salary. And have a cute apt in NYC too! Realism is imho good!
I'm SOOSOSOSO excited. Love love the office even though I spend half the time with my face covered because it can be SO embarrassing (not as much as it used to be, but still).
Yay! They are one of the cutest TV couples ever. And I can't wait to see how they do the wedding at Niagra Falls. This is going to be a great episode.
I hope they achieve the right balance of sweetness and classic Office humor. Can't you see the writers sitting around brainstorming- "Okay, what are the most awkward things you've ever seen guests do at a wedding?" There's so much material! But I hope the wedding is still romantic. After all, we've been waiting for this for years!
T said to me the other day..I sure hope that Dwight does not make a toast but we know that for sure Michael will make one and it will be...unique!
SO excited for this! I just rewatched season 5 this week (I rewatch all the seasons in order about... once a month)--I am so in love with the office!
I think their wedding will be so cute, they're such a great couple. And I hope the tie story is good!
I actually love Pam's dress... aww! Cute that they'd do it from David's. And Bellenga, I agree--Carrie could never afford so much of the stuff she had. I'm still at a loss as to figuring out how she even afforded an apartment with that much closet?

I think I found Pam's dress! It's this one, Galina T9552. I love the realistic details on The Office, like the staff drinking Wegmans soda (Wegmans is a grocery store chain, they have one in Scranton) or Pam wearing David's Bridal.
Cutest couple ever. Yes, totally am waiting for Michael's to give a speech...whether asked or not.
Anyone else see him on Conan last night? Apparently he'll be getting married in real life and saw this a great dry run.
PB&J are my favorite tv couple! Can't wait for their wedding. And, I can for sure see Dwight cutting Jim's tie.

@MelissaB--I think you meant to say "Wegmans is THE ALL-TIME GREATEST grocery store chain" 
@carrie.a.s.b. -- well, naturally, that was implied simply by mentioning Wegmans ;-) (Seriously, though -- Wegmans is awesome. I had no idea it was possible to experience such intense affection for a grocery store!)
I bet Michael cut the tie somehow trying to be helpful. All of our family and friends call us Jim and Pam, so we were shocked when their "wedding date" turned out to be only two days before our set date next year! Love me some JAM, can't wait for the episode. Do you really think Dwight will go?
I'm SO excited for Jim and Pam's wedding epsiode next week. When they were showing scenes from it after last night's episode, I got kinda teary! My husband was teaching me because I was crying at the commercial for this show and yet...I didn't cry a tear at our own wedding. ;) Oops...
That does it! I'm gonna try to add a poll in about the tie. Hopefully I can and we'll look back fondly the day after we all go to their wedding (virtually) and we can see who guessed right about the tie culprit!
@ Jessie516 - I teared up, too! I am an Office nerd. :) Plus, my husband told me that Pam kinda looked like I did on our wedding day. Awwwww!

Ok i teared up, too. I'm not alone! I'm embarassed to watch this episode with my husband next week. He'll be like, "this is a tv show. what is wrong with you?!?!?!" =]
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who got a little teary at the promo. I just think those two characters are super cute together and I have quite the crush on John Krasinski. :)
I teared up at the promo too!!
I mean, I kind of think their dynamic was funnier when they weren't together and still in the crush phase, but still. They're impossible not to root for :)
I can't wait for the wedding, but does anyone suspect this is the last season for our beloved Office staff?
My sister and I were talking about it: Dwight seems to be warming back up to Angela, Andy's going after Erin and she seems to like him ok now, the Michael and Holly storyline was left pretty open-ended and of course, Jim and Pam are having the baby. My FI then said the same thing about an hour later.
Regardless though, I still am in love with the Office! And the promo for next week made me tear up a bit too!
I am so lovin' it! I watched the last 2 episodes again last night w/T.
I swear..I'd love to have an "office wedding" almost and have RSVP cards with stuff printed on it like:
"Choose Your Entree:
or the dreaded area where you say if you're attending on the card such as:
And of course, then there's the ever-anticipated wedding invitation you send out that deliberately EXCLUDES such tidbits of information such as directions and time of ceremony and locations for both ceremony and reception because we all know your friends would rather TEXT YOU OR PHONE the day of your wedding because who cares about invites!
Think of the $$ you could save! Well except for the most expensive entree part where it's either something pricey or ribs.

anyone watch SNL last night? during it, there was another promo where they showed more of her in her dress! I can't wait!
