You can put us on that list. I missed my depo-provera shot that would have been due the week of July 18th - so that puts me off of BC for 5 weeks.
Posting on this list in some weird way makes it sooo official. But! Count us in!
We're in...I stopped my BC about halfway through my honeymoon last week and now I'm on my first natural period in 11 years. I hope it doesn't last an eternity.
I'm really excited and totally freaked out at the same time : )
I am pregnant :) wooop! but what a GREAT thread :) :) I wish it was around a week ago ;P
@artsybride10: I totally agree! We are on like week 2 of "trying" lol but posing about it here makes it seem more real!
We are! This is month two, I just finished 5 days of Femara and I go in next week to see if I have any follicles ready.
We're not trying yet but we're not trying to not try - I went off the pill this month! I need to get on his health insurance before I do get pregnant because mine doesn't cover pregnancy. We just got back from our honeymoon and wedding on Sunday and reaching out to HR to get me on his benefits is one of my DH's to do items. Once I'm on, we can actively try!
We're trying again. Hopefully everything will go a lot easier this time. Now to wait for the 1st through 4th for fertility time to really start trying.

@1littlep: we're sorta the same way. Not trying yet not NOT trying. After the new year, though, I'm fairly certain it'll change, though. More of a "it won't matter either way, cause it'll happen regardless" thing, lol. that and we don't want to wait TOO long and I'll turn 30 in 2012... (we've also got two other younglings, and don't want a HUGE age gap between 'em...)
We are! I've been off BC for about 10 months. Found out I have PCOS, so I start Femara next month.

I guess I should clarify - since I am coming off of depo-provera, it can take 6 months to begin ovulating again. I am not actively trying, we are just having fun, it is weird to be off of birth control for the first time since I was 16! Hormones are a strange thing!
We'll be trying soon I hope! I miscarried a few months ago and my body is still going crazy from it, so once that all calms down we're in.
Working on month #7 here. No obvious problems, so just trying to keep my chin up and hope that it happens before too long :)
Just getting over my miscarriage from July. Assuming the doctor gives us the "OK", we'll be trying again in a few months.

Count us in. I am off birth control and we will start trying immediatley after our wedding in 9 days. I have PCOS and have been taking metformin so we are hoping for the best. Good luck everyone.

This thread is great! So Helpful. Glad we aren't alone. I stopped my BC a week after the honeymoon, after being on it for 11 years. We are just letting things happen naturally, not trying not to get pregnant. My OB/GYN said it could take 6 months to start ovulating! And she said I should be pregnant within a year! I was shocked! I was hoping to be by Sept. Hoping to be sooner than later :)
Month 4 of TTC and I'm in my two week wait.
We just hit our 6 mth mark a few weeks ago...I have an appointment in a few weeks to see my doctor. Good luck to everyone and ENJOY THIS TIME!
Month 4 of TTC, just starting it up. Fingers crossed we'll get lucky soon!
We're in. First month of "not preventing" I haven't been on BC for at least 5 years, but was on the "natural plan" of BC. We figured we wanted to try right after the wedding, we might as well get a jump start on it now!
you can put us in the "not trying not to" we're not technically trying but we're not doing anything to NOT get pregnant either. :)
This is our first month on Clomid! Wish us luck!! :)
I am trying so hard not to get my hopes too high, especially since the doctor is still figuring out my situation. But taking the Clomid is one step closer!
And the side effects are minimal so far...sweet!

I guess it's time to put my name on the list! Took my last pill on Saturday!! We are super excited to be off of BC and will begin actively trying now!
