I don't know that I have seen a post about rings you bees hope to get, or some you have come across that you absolutely love, but I have decided to share mine. (Hope it is not against the lady-in-waiting rules.) It's Tacori.
Oh, it's just beautiful! I have no idea if it's against the lady-in-waiting "rules" (or even if there ARE rules?), but I hope my SO picks something like this:
We've been looking at similar rings but we both liked this one in the latest catalogue we looked at - it's a set, so the wedding band would already be sorted. Now all he needs to do is buy it!
@In the media: Wow that is really unique! I can't even quite tell what's going on there -- are there 8 paved prongs with stones inbetween? Or is it just a really different halo? Either way I think it's really pretty and really cool! I haven't seen anything like that... and I look at A LOT of rings. LOL.
Anyway, OOH OOH!! MY TURN!! Hahaha this is what I want:

Woooo giant pic, sorry! That's 14k rose gold in that pink beauty! Amazing!!
With THIS kind of diamond:

I die.
*sigh...*
I have been holding out for the perfect ring we have been dating since 8th grade so I feel it has to be extra special
heres the Simon G ring I hope to order soon
The center stone is a asher cut it just glitters on the finger
The ring I want is an australian opal set in white gold with a single diamond. He's seen it and everything and likes it. Now we wade further into the deep waters of the river of our relationship...
lovely rings, ladies!! We waitingbees have some excellent taste in bling! :)
Maybe you guys can help me - I saw this ring in someones project wedding profile and have gradually become obsessed with it. What I like about it (other than the fact it is gorgeous!) is the way it has a halo, but it's kind of bent or curved or v-shaped. I've seen a couple of things that are similar to it, but not exactly like it. Does anyone know what this type of halo is called, or a designer who makes them?

I have a few that I am in love with! I really want a blue sapphire with diamond side accents.

Ooooh fun, I sometimes feel like it's a no no to share the ring I want, thanks for posting this! :D

Wow! So many pretty rings :-)
I'm pretty sure this is the one for me:
P.S. also a TACORI
@gocubbies: I love that ring! That's a style I think about a lot as well.
@DreamingBee: That split shank is gorgeous! So delicate and feminine! Tacori really knows their stuff.
@gocubbies: I like your ring too!
@bryanneb61: I have to admit, I tried it on and it looks AMAZING on! I wouldn't have picked it out in a catalog but it's so feminine and more comfortable than some of the other Tacori's with diamonds in the band...just too thick of a band for me in some cases. Un-comfy on the finger.
Thank you, ladies!! :)
I am lovin' all your rings too, such a fun post!
I wanted something very simple, classic... something that will not look too 'dated'. The style is based on the Solitare 1895 design from Cartier, so I figure I can't go wrong w/ that!
@Bryanne.. have you tried to contact the user to ask about the ring? Maybe she can give you some help!!
i love this post! I"ve been following the "waiting" thread for a while and haven't seen one like this.
I'm a big fan of round cut solitaire... simple, i know, but classic and timeless to me!

Ladies we all have excellent taste. It's just amazing how all of them are so unique! I love it!
@littlemissmango: I honestly don't know what is going on there either. All I know is that I love it. I think there are 8 prongs, but then there's the halo too.
@LetsGoPens: STUNNING!
OOOOOoooooOOOOOoo! Fun!
I like this one, simple and gorgeous! Great deals on http://stores.ebay.com/Diamonds-In-Beverly-Hills Sorry if the pic is huge!
@bryanneb61: I swear I've seen that ring online!!
I did a little searching and the closest I could find was a Hearts on Fire. It's the Felicity Ribbon Solitare.
And my dream ring is something like this:

It has pink diamonds on the band. Realistically I'm not going to be getting this, but ohwell!

This is the one I want...

Littlemissmango- I've never seen a ring like that before. It's beautiful and unique!
I tell him repeatedly Tacori. I like the diamond, but I LOVE the band of the ring! That's why I really like Tacori, how unique the bands are.

What a fun thread! Here is the one that I want!
I love pear diamonds... although I think I am far more likely to end up with a round one as the pears just aren't that common here.
I think it is just fine to post rings you want! I started a similar thread when I was in waiting! And sometimes knowing what you want is good.
The ring I posted as my dream ring?

The ring I got from my awesome fi?

look familiar? :)
@CorgiTales: oh wow!
and @bryanneb61 and PinkBubbleGum, the Felicity Ribbon Solitaire is GORGEOUS!!!
@PinkBubbleGum: Thank you!!! That ring is gorgeous! I'm going to add it to my super secret file and see if I can check one out at a store around here. :)
@gocubbies: I should totally just write to the gal - do you think she would be offended/think it was weird if I asked her about her ring?
I've been flip-flopping a lot but I think this is my ultimate fave, and the boy likes it too... white gold, peridot and emerald :)

aww me and miss corgitales have the same ring and its the ring i was drooling over for months !!!!
@DreamingBee: Me too! I was playing around with different stone/color combinations on the website (Gemvara) but the green is my favorite.
It's so cool how diverse our tastes are! Nice work ladies!
I'm not sure why the pics won't show...trying, again!! I'd really love the sidestones or center row to be rubies (my birthstone)...LOVE these rings!!
@caszos: Eeep love it even more on! Hope to be ring twins! It's a store in NZ called Michael Hill who is selling that.
@Regina Phalange: Wow!!! That is so gorgeous. I love greens as well - the combination of the peridot with the emerald is absolutely stunning.
I love this - all the shiny diamond bling! I also had dreamt up my perfect ring - had never gone shopping with my boyfriend to show him what I wanted or anything and when he proposed with a ring he picked out, it wasn't necessarily the ring I would have chosen for myself but I absolutely love it and wouldn't change a thing about it! I think it's even more beautiful to me knowing that he hand-picked the setting and stone; I literally can picture him perusing the inventory at Jared's and making sure it was perfect for me. Sooo sappy....LOL
This is my dream e-ring maybe SO will get it for me one day. It took me a lot to get to this point I've changed it some many times. I want this ring with the following old european cut diamond.
Tried to resist posting buttttttt I just couldn't :)
So here's mine!
