Gahh, so the stanley cup finals are on and my Fiance is completely GLUED to the TV right now.. He is here physically but his mental mind has left the room! lol
Any other bees’ fiances like this? Ugh so typical lol.

I’m in the same boat as your fiance. Luckily my fiance is in to it too, so we’re both glued!

Ah, I LOVE the SCFs for this reason! I get my time to do what I want (play on the computer/read/sew/clean) without getting any grief! Him being glud to the TV= him not bothering me 😉

haha. Yes I find it at times nice too so I can do my own thing (ie make my scrapbook) but its not only with watching hockey he plays it too and on xbox live..so basically he is eating, breathing and living hockey! Not that I’m really upset with it, I just find it hilarious considering he says I’m very “into” my reading and studies…so the tables have turned! lol
@daniellealys: LOL I’d want to smash it too!

It dosen’t seem to matter what sport is on….he’s watching it. He either has it on his computer, phone or switching to it during commercial breaks – sometimes all 3! Get’s annoying sometimes, but i’ve learned to deal with it.

<Waves> I’m a hockey widow too!

@Bella_Erminia86: yes…I day dream about it sometimes. Going into his “office” and just beating the crap out of it with a bat! LOL

I’m a sports widow too (football and basketball). And, it doesn’t have to be professional sports. It could be the little league teams at the local park! I don’t mind though. I am a fair weather fan and and I watch a few games with him here and there. When I get bored (really quickly) I enjoy my “me time”. We joke that he would NEVER actually cheat on me because his love of sports doesn’t leave time for that. lol!

@MrsSawyer: Same here! We are both watching it together. It’s the only sport I haven’t seen Boston win a championship in yet, so I’m super pumped! Love my B’s!

@bestbuddies: I can relate. I call FI’s car the other woman all the time. He spends so much time researching parts for it, then buying the parts, then putting them on the car, then it starts all over with some new part. lol. It’s a red mustang so I call her the “red-headed mistress” or when I’m really upset she’s just “the/that b*tch” lol

Um….try THIS one on for size:
his team is the Bruins.
I automatically cheer for any Canadian team over an American one (even though the Bruins have more Canadian players than the Canucks…funny little tidbit there).
To say its … a little awkward up in here for the next week or two is, um, putting it mildly.

my Fiance gets like that everytime there is a movie on. He just completely zones me out and is 100% focused on the tv/movie screen. I’m still at the point where I am amused by it. and I guess, i kinda get that way when im reading the drama posts here on the Bee, i can totally zone him out, haha.
