I had never heard of this diet before, but my personal trainer recommended that I try it. Has anyone every tried this diet? If so, what was your experience with it? It seems like a pretty sound diet from what I can tell, but I just wanted some input from someone who has actual experience with it.

I had done some reading up on the Paleo diet, I like the theory. My current eating philosophy folllows more the Michael Pollan & Nina Planck approach (eat “real foods”). Although I have not tried to completely follow the Paleo approach (I like cheese way to much!), I am currently trying to incorporate an increasing amount of paleo meals into my diet.
Books I’ve read:
The Paleo Diet by Loren Cordain PhD – http://www.amazon.com/Paleo-Diet-Healthy-Designed-ebook/dp/B000W40PPE/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1298082115&sr=8-15
