My opinion is bigger is better, but I know a lot of people would rather have a smaller center stone. It all depends on what you want=)

I said 1.25 with the enhancement. I also have moissanite and got a 1.7 with the enhancement, my ring size is 5.5.

Sometimes I can see yellow, but I don’t really mind cuz most of the time it is clear, but some diamonds are yellow too! But it really is rare that it looks yellow!

I have a square tho, but heres a pic anyways.

This chart may be helpful with making your decision. 1ct on a size 6 finger is actually considered the “ideal” in terms of finger coverage.

I can’t comment on the Amora enhancement though, as I have a diamond, not moissanite, so I don’t know anything about that.

I vote 1.25 enhanced.  Personally, I dont think it will look ‘too big’.  I have 1.3ct on a size 4.25 and I dont think its even close to too big at all.

I’m a size 5.5 and I got a 1.5 ct Amora. At first, I thought the stone was huge, but after a few days, I got used to it and I wouldn’t want anything smaller. I think getting the larger size is a good idea to help prevent shrinkage 🙂

I’m a size 6 and have a 6.5mm stone in a halo, and love the extra finger coverage the halo adds, so I vote 7mm!

@mmarten:  I voted to go bigger with the enhancement. If you don’t want to wait for post, you can search the boards as there have been plenty of threads about MoissaniteCo with reviews and pictures. Alternatively, you can also check out the Better than Diamond forums as there is a specific board dedicated to the site.

I’m actually considering ordering from them myself and just learnt that they can send you wax moulds for particular rings (at a cost) so you can see how it would look on your finger.

go to a normal jewelry store and try on a few sizes of diamonds to see which one you like on your finger.

I would go with the 1.25. Before I reset my stone it was a simple 1.25 moissy solitaire and my finger is size 5. I would also recommend the enhancement. Mine is enhanced, but not the amora enhancement, as I purchased mine before it that was available.
