Yes!  We purchased it together, and it sat in the house for 5 days before he proposed.  I nearly up and died waiting those 5 days because it was in my jewelry drawer.  He proposed on easter.  I think I drove my mom nuts talking to her and worrying he wouldn’t propose any time soon, and all of that.  Can’t wait to see your ring!

I found out last weekend that he has one ring, and the other is still on its way… my stepson spilled the beans. Lol. It actually made me feel better knowing that it’s almost here but not quite… just because I’ve been officially “waiting” since end of March when we went to get my ring size and he bought the gemstone I wanted online.

Sounds like yours is coming soon!!

So excited for you! I’m still awaiting the proposal, but I know the stone is an heirloom and is/was at the jeweler to be set. I actually think the ring is here now, because when we had friends here the other day, he kept taking them upstairs to show them a “DVD.” Right…

missmacaylah:  I can relate to the no patience.  My husband’s like “it was only 5 days, not even a week.”This was after we told my mom and his mom.  When we told our friends they were like “About time.”  Do you have any pictures of the ring yet?  I’m excited for you.

I’m just confused about my situation now. Which I think he might be going for. I accidentally saw a message between one of his friends saying that he has the ring, just waiting for the right time but then he’s talked about going ring “looking.” I saw the message about a month ago but he’s talked about the ring looking for about a week and a half to two weeks now but we still haven’t gone.  Sneaky, devil. I’ve ransacked the house to no avail but I think he might be keeping it at his mom’s if he does have it. He knows I’m a snooper. 🙂

Hopefully yours will happen sooner rather than later 🙂

Just a simple iolite stone and white gold bands.  I didn’t want a diamond so we got a gemstone 🙂  I also have really tiny fingers (size 3) so we got a small stone only .64 carats, but I wouldn’t change it at all.  I love it.
